« We had peaceful getaway at the Hix Lake and Cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable with a well-equipped, generously stocked kitchen. Its location on the private lake is serene with no other houses in sight.The real show-stopper was the outdoor areas. We enjoyed morning coffee on the wrap around porch looking out at the lake and listening to the birdsong. The hot tub was a relaxing way to unwind. Fishing at the private lake was a lot of fun. « Well not putting apps on my phone, I wasn't able to get the instructions to our cabin (which I didn't realize I wasn't actually staying the house) so we had to bang on the house door for quite a while since nobody answered the text to the only number we could find on our itinerary sheet. Oh yes it said we would get instructions for checking in and out 3 days before our arrival ( it was that same morning we actually got instructions) if it was done correctly I would of got the instructions before...
