With decor inspired by the colors of the sea, Ocean Hues is a beautifully decorated, restful retreat where you can enjoy spending time with family and friends. With accommodations for eight people, Ocean Hues offers two master bedrooms with one upstairs and one downstairs. This lovely home features a fully equipped kitchen and includes a well-stocked spice cabinet. The custom dining table seats 12 people where you can enjoy meals with your whole family, play board games, and work on a jigsaw puzzle all week. The upstairs game cabinet is stocked with classic board games and puzzles. This Smart home has a Sonos sound system equipped with an Echo “Alexa" voice-activated assistant in the family room, master bedroom, upstairs loft and screened porch. Download the Sonos app on your phone or iPad to listen to your own playlist or ask Alexa to play the style of music you enjoy. Smart TVs are located in the family room, upstairs loft and screened back porch. The screened porch also features a lovely tabby fireplace. Ocean Hues in Ocean Oaks is located adjacent to one of Jekyll’s most beautiful white-duned beaches which is accessible at all tides.


This property comes with access to a brand new pool and pavilion in the complex of Ocean Oaks.

Excellent home and location!

We had an amazing time at Ocean Hues!! Spent Thanksgiving here with the family, plenty of room for our family of 8! Clean house stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook, quiet neighborhood, so close to the beach (4 minute walk across private boardwalk!). Walked the beach, biked, saw the lights, watched football, played games. We made so many memories and almost cried when we left! Already planning out next trip back! Thank you for opening up your home to us! It's beautiful!

Awesome beach cottage

Best stocked kitchen I have ever seen! Love that it had 3 king beds. One king on master and 2 kings upstairs, plus a queen bed and queen pull out. Pool is a short stroll down the street. Walkable beach access. There are 2 sets of stairs on beach walkway so if ur taking a beach cart or stroller, u need 2 people to lift it up the stairs. Would rent again.

Wonderful location and accomodations

This is by far the best equipped home I have stayed in. Wonderful kitchen with everything you could imagine. We really enjoyed the home and proximity to the beach. Sunday check in and cleaning was a challenge for the property management company, likely due to our event, but once we were in, it was great! Thank you!

Wonderful house and neighborhood

The house was very clean and well stocked and was a short walk to the beach and pool. Jekyll Realty co was easy to work with and even went and unlocked the house for us so we didn't need to come by and pick up keys upon arrival. Parking is tight (listing says 4 spots) but with large to mid-size SUVs/ Truck we were only able to get 3 vehicles to fit. There are other lots on the island where we left the other vehicle, so you just need to plan accordingly.

Fantastic beach house

The house was beautifully decorated and had many thoughtful amenities like spices and Tupperware. We all slept very well - the beds were very comfortable! The upstairs game cabinet helped us stay busy during rainy afternoons. There is easy access to the beach and pool. The sunrise and sunsets were gorgeous. We saw a lot of marine life - stingray, hermit crab, horseshoe crab, sand crab, sand dollars. We would definitely go back and highly recommend!

The property was great! Good location! The only complaint we would have was floor looked like it was not cleaned before we arrived. The communication between rental place and cleaners was not great. It put us back getting into the house. Other than that it was fine.

Fantastic Jekyll stay

Our group of family and friends had a lovely two-week stay at Ocean Oaks. The front porch is perfect for morning coffee, and we spent evenings on the screened porch chatting and sharing glasses of wine. We had a max capacity group but never felt crowded. Everyone had a comfortable place to sleep and a spacious bathroom. The extra large dining table was perfect for our dinners. We love to cook on vacation and found an amazingly well-stocked kitchen in terms of the utensils, cookware, dishes, and appliances. (We were short on pantry space but made do!) We all enjoyed hanging out at the pool and appreciated the shelter of the poolhouse when some rain rushed us to cover once or twice. The beach was easily accessible, and we all enjoyed finding sand dollars galore at low tide! Having recycling accessible was a great bonus, and the kids also appreciated that we could cast movies from apps on our phones onto the upstairs TV.

Great getaway

Lovely home, above and beyond comfort. Nice secluded beach. Jekylls beach is very flat and the water can be muddy but surf is warm and not strong so enjoyable to float around. Nice small community pool. Great design in the neighborhood. Steps to go up and over dune and get into house if mobility is an issue might not be best choice. For us it was perfect.

Wonderful house with everything you need

Ocean Hues is a great rental!!! It has everything you need and more. It had every appliance we wanted, plenty of cooking utensils, China and glassware, a huge grill, a screened area with fireplace and a comfortable front porch. There is a nice pool for the small amount of houses with toys for the kids. An ultra wide beach is just a short walk down the wooded path from the middle of the neighborhood. We met residents David and Gary who were very friendly and welcoming to visitors. The bike paths around the island are a lot of fun to ride and we came away with 27 treasures from Shark Tooth Beach.
