'CALl IT WHAT IT IS If you are an AT hiker looking for a place to sleep close to the trail, in the dry, this is a good option. The bed was clean, had a refrigerator and ceiling fan, but no coffee pot. The bathroom and shower are communal so be aware there is not a bathroom in each “cabin,” nor can you lock your door from the inside. Thus “resort” is misleading. I am not sure why they chose to include “resort” in naming this place. It is very clearly a nice rustic campground with four hostel...

People standing around smoking. Looked like there were more people than the occupancy allowed in some of the outdoor rooms. 'If you're looking for the best bang for your buck, Red Roof Inn of JC is the greatest. Do not try the other budget-friendly options in Johnson City. I've tried many of them—and they're all deficient in cleanliness (seriously, trust me on this) and in customer service. Red Roof Inn of JC has super friendly and accommodating staff. And the rooms are clean with no weird smells or moldy corners. As I said, I've tried many of the other budget-friendly options in JC, but I always come back to Red Roof...

'Great location, comfortable beds, clean throughout. But the best part was the breakfast! It was the best breakfast we have ever had at a hotel with the friendliest, most attentive staff. The breakfast included everything to make a delicious sandwich - eggs, cheese, sausage, spicy fried chichen breast, various breads and sauces- and whole wheat waffles and french toast!'
