'Hosts easy to deal with. Place was neat and as promised. Nice place as a base to visit this part of Maine. Did Acadia NP, Whale watch, toured a couple Lighthouse spots, Did Bangor Steven King tour, and Upstate Moosehead Lake with a short walk on the AT. All easy drives from the rental. '

'Place was beautiful and did not disappoint from the pictures. Tub was amazing and hot! Plenty of clean linen. Room has everything needed for a short or extended stay! Right down to a wine bottle opener. :)'

'We stayed 2 nights while visiting Acadia. We wanted to be away from the craziness of Bar Harbor… this location satisfied this need. Check in and communication were great. We stayed in room 7. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Only minor issues that I would want others to consider is… 1) proximity to the highway is very close, which is apparent when I look back at the website pics. It wasn’t an issue for me, as I wear earplugs anyway, but I did hear a siren once, as it is that close....

'We were only here for one night, so our experience was limited, however, the unit was clean, comfortable and well- stocked. The location is off the beaten path and on a dirt road, but was perfect for a quiet stay. We even had deer come through the yard. The only comment I would make is that there was a strong cleaner smell when we arrived. It did mean that the unit was clean, however, maybe use a little less as it was harsh on my family with asthma. Otherwise a great stay.'

'We were given an upgrade gratis to the upstairs, large, 2-bed, apartment. Totally equipped with lovely furniture, some antique, some very modern, high-end appliances, cookery and local pottery dish-ware. Modern/eclectic vibe within an old building. Thoughtful details everywhere from desk to gorgeous bath. Clean. Comfy beds. Lush towels. A little noisy due to being right on the street but the large back deck and sofa set are fabulous.'
