  • Een slaapkamer met queen-size bed, woonkamer, een badkamer met bad en douche. Er is een kleine koelkast & Keurig; geen keuken. Gratis wi-fi, maar geen televisie. Een wi-fi "extender" heeft de wi-fi problemen opgelost waar sommige commentatoren over geschreven hebben. Er is een grote bank waar een peuter of een heel klein kind comfortabel op kan slapen, maar het is geen opklapbed. Dit toestel is boven onze garage met aparte ingang via een buitentrap, zie foto's. Als er mobiliteitsproblemen zijn, is dit niet de plek voor u! Inclusief toegang (twee treden) naar een afgeschermde in balkon.

    Wij zijn gevestigd in de stad Hill gebied van Bar Harbor. BH het centrum is een 15-20 minuten rijden van hier, met behulp van de charmante en accuraat de naam "Crooked Road." NE en SW Havens en Ellsworth, zijn ook elk ongeveer 15 minuten rijden. Het is een makkelijke wandeling van 10 minuten naar het 'Blue Horizons'-reservaat van de Maine Coast Heritage Trust om de oceaan te bereiken, en het natuurreservaat Blagdon ligt op 5 minuten rijden.

This was the perfect place to stay in for a long weekend in Acadia! The location was proximal to everything we wanted to see, and communication with the host was super helpful with lots of recommendations for things to do around the park. I’d recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

A cozy little place for my wife and I to celebrate our anniversary Check-in process was easy to manage, Communication with host was excellent, recommendations on favorite dining places were very helpful, trail maps, hiking trails, local things to doDefinitely would return here on the quiet side of the island.

Everything was as described and Barbara was an excellent host. She made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We definitely plan to stay again on our next trip to Acadia.

A million out of 5 stars - everything about this experience - and property! - were extraordinary. If you are looking for the perfect oasis near Acadia National Park you have found it! Highly highly recommend.

Our stay was so wonderful! The place was extremely comfortable and the property it sat on was beautiful - like something out of a fairy tale. Our hosts were friendly and responsive, and provided plenty of basics to make our stay easy. We were grateful for the flashlight, which we hadn’t thought of and came in handy when we headed into Acadia for some late-night stargazing. We were very close to Bar Harbor and to the park. I’d stay here again in a second.

What an incredible find to enjoy the delights of Acadia and Bar Harbor! The room was cozy, pristine, private, and a perfect place to get away as my wife and I celebrated our honoeymoon. The bed was beyond comfortable, the room had ample sitting space, the bookshelves were stocked with not only incredible reads, but also some board games for a rainy day or relaxing night. The grounds the property is on are gorgeous and there's an easy beach access a short little hike away. Everything is an easy 15 minutes, and the drives are so pretty on the island that it never felt that long! Barbara was a delight and a fount of good information and guidance on what to do, and left wonderful notes and tons of guidebooks to peruse through. She let us borrow chairs for our Cadillac Mountain sunrise and was available at all times, but never forced herself into our trip (we were just happy to have her!). For the price, the comfort, the vibe, and the amenities, I cannot recommend this enough, and when we go back, this is the first listing I'll be looking for!

Barbara and David were wonderful hosts, and the space was spotless and very well stocked with essentials. We loved the location—tucked away in a quiet wooded setting, yet close to Acadia’s hikes and sights and just a short drive to Bar Harbor. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge after a day of hiking before heading into town for dinner.

Great Place!

Great place to stay, beautifully landscaped very peaceful, clean, nearby to parks and great food and the owners are very accommodating and checked in to see if you need anything. I would definitely recommend for any future stay.

Immaculate Stay

Our stay was terrific, and Barbra was a great host. Even with some hiccups at the property, Barbara was very upfront and did a great job communicating throughout the stay. Whenever we make our way back up to the Bar Harbor area, we will be sure to stay here.
