'Cute and stylish cottage (we were in the Milking Parlour), easy to find and good location. Cosy for a few days for a couple but the outside space a bit disappointing. Inside the cottage is pretty much exactly as per the photos. It's stylish and cleverly designed for multi-functional self-catering. Even has a dishwasher! Some tea, coffee beans, sugar, milk and olive oil kindly provided. The smart home features for air-con, heating, radio etc take getting used to but are effective. Could do with...

'We cannot wait to stay at Mallards View again. Wonderful property with everything you need in place, including some very welcomed extra treats. It is situated across the road from a lovely park and duck pond, in a very quiet area. The perfect property for complete rest and relaxation. We cannot praise it enough and hope its available when we stay on the island again.'

'I enjoyed a lovely break in a beautiful home. Very convenient location and close enough to walk to Appley Beach for my dog. Everything you could need in the home (not sure it mentioned a freezer but it has one for your convenience. I either overlooked this on description or it doesn’t mention it but it’s definitely a bonus).'

'If you like quirky, vintage, upcycling, but home comfort and mod cons , Zen cottage is perfect. We loved it and will be back to enjoy the garden when weather improves. Great location, easy check in and out. Highly recommend.'

'It is exactly as the description says. Great place for multi generational family gathering. Games room packed with toys kept 4 year old entertained as did the table tennis for the teenagers. Walking distance to shops and beach. Well equipped with plenty of everything. Highly recommend'

'Perfect location as walking distance to shops, restaurants in a beautiful quaint little village. It was also ideal that the beach was within walking distance. Opposite the house was a large Field with a little duck pond and a children’s Park so our little dogs loved going over there each morning for a run. The house had everything that was required for a holiday. It was clean and tidy and Jill was a perfect host.'

'Cottage is in a lovely quiet street and good acces to many beaches. We did have some issues with cleanliness in the cottage but this was resolved. Overall we had a lovely stay'

'We really loved staying at this house. It’s in the perfect location, stepping out straight into the woods. We spotted 4 deer at sunset on one day, and came across many of the wild horses that roam around in the area. Several great walks in nearby woods too. We recommend visiting the Raptor Centre nearby too. The house was perfect for us. Everything you could need. It was clean & tidy. We really appreciated the bottle of Prosecco & a lovely chocolate cake! Anne greeted us and came to say goodbye...

'De cottage was groter dan de foto's lieten zien. De woonkamer was eenvoudig ingericht, maar wel praktisch. De serre was snel warm en geschikt om er met open deuren te zitten, ook als het minder mooi weer was. De slaapkamers boven zijn echt ruim en netjes verzorgd. Prima bedden en mooi schoon universeel linnengoed. Heel fijn dat er boven een aparte w.c. was. En ook nog een tweede doucheruimte met wastafel en w.c. 'Goede bedden, de buitenkant doet niet vermoeden dat de cottage nog zoveel ruimte binnen heeft. Tapijt is met hondjes wel wat onhandig maar gelukkig hadden we het weer mee. gastvrij ontvangst en nog bedankt voor de welkomsborrel.'

'The cottage is ideally located, only a short 5-10 minute drive to the coast and is on its own in a private part of the retreat. The enclosed garden is perfect if you have a dog with you and would be a lovely space to enjoy in the spring / summer. The kitchen had everything you could need and the bedrooms are light and airy, although little things like making sure there is salt in the salt grinder would be appreciated.
