  • Summary:
    Our apartment is close to the ever popular North Street! With Tesco just across the street and The Spotted Cow pub a stone's throw away our apartment is the place to be when needing to visit Bristol.

    North Street is the perfect location for a jam packed time away. Bursting with local street art, alternative independent shops and large amount of amazing cafe's, pubs, bars and restaurants you will be sure to fill your time exploring these amazing places. Being walking distance from Ashton Gate and Wapping Wharf, it's a place to rest during your busy time in Bristol.

    The Space:
    This apartment is over two floors, with a master bedroom on the top floor, and the second bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area or the first floor.

    It is a modern apartment with everything that you would need for your trip to Bristol, whether that one night or longer.

    Beds and mattresses for a comfortable stay, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, wifi and smart TV.

    Guest Access:
    Guests have private access to the whole flat.

    The Neighborhood:
    Being just off North Street, the area has a great urban area, vibrant, with lots of great independent bars and restaurants.

    Bus Stops can be found along North Street and Coronation Road. Usually the quickest buses are the Metro buses, all timetables can be found online.

    Local train stations are:
    Bristol Temple Meads - Approx 9 minute drive
    Bedminster Train Station - Approx 6 minute drive

    Other Things to Note:
    There is a parking permit for one car with this flat which is a bonus to find in this area, and there is free on street parking opposite

    The permit will be in the flat for our guests use, please make sure this is returned at the end of the stay

Unfortunately we got a bit of a shock when we saw the outside of the property. Pretty grotty to the extent that we thought we must have the wrong address. The front door that led to the two apartments was in a state and practically falling off the hinges. The key safe was in the front area by the wheelie bin and there was rubbish all over the floor. The keysafe needs replacing, I had to call the agent because I couldn't get it open. Eventually I prized it open with a car key but had broken a nail or two in the process. Disgusting to have to navigate the refuse to get to the key safe.Inside the apartment is pleasant. It could do with a proper deep clean. In the ktichen for instance, cutlery tray dirty, mugs not spotless, hob dirty etc. Some flooring such as under dining table hadn't been cleaned and sofa covers were a bit less than desirable. Scuff marks on skirting and walls. There is no wardrobe or clothes hanging facility in the downstairs bedroom. The beds are very comfortable, nice clean bedding and towels. I found the skylight window in the upstairs bedroom was excellent at letting in a breeze after a very hot day. The bathroom is nicely done and so is the kitchen, however for the amount of money charged for one night, I was shocked at the state of the outside and the apartment needs to be absolutely spotless. This place isn't really suitable for anyone elderly and definitely not children due to the staircase layout. Good location for our needs.
