'Marj en Bruce zijn geweldige hosts. De gîte is meer dan volledig uitgerust en ligt in een mooie, grote tuin met eigen stukje bos. Marj en Bruce zijn erg aardig en zeer attent. We voelden ons erg thuis en hebben het enorm naar onze zin gehad.Het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken.'

'from the moment we arrived we felt so welcome and the feeling grew as the stay progressed. Fran is a very friendly host and her husband John was just as welcoming. The gite and pool are in a beautiful, quiet, nature filled part of the Charente. The decor in each room is a clever mix of antique and modern. It is immaculately clean; generously equipped; a well insulated house. We enjoyed feeding their hens too!! We fully recommend this gite.'

'Nous avons été accueillis par Linda et Claude, des hôtes d’une extrême gentillesse dans ce lieu paradisiaque, très calme, idéal pour se ressourcer. Les extérieurs sont propices à la détente : une belle piscine, un grand jardin doté de mobilier avec des coins et recoins pour vous reposer. Le gîte est très confortable et équipé de tout le nécessaire (et même plus…). Des vélos électriques ont été mis à notre disposition . 'Nous avons passés un très bon moment en famille dans cette belle demeure en pleine nature. L'endroit est très confortable et on s'y sent vite très bien. On est au calme, on a eu de belles soirées étoilées, la proximité des chevaux apporte une certaine sérénité. Le lieu est proche des grands axes routiers sans nuisances, il est donc facile de sillonner la région. Merci à Dominique et ses filles pour leur accueil, on garde l'adresse pour un prochain séjour !'

'Au calme et idéalement situé pour de belles promenades le long de la Charente ou au parc de Fregeneuil, tout en restant à proximité de la ville. 'I have to say this was the best vrbo I ever stayed in due to the amazing couple that owned and manages this place. They were helpful in so many ways. The place itself is relaxing and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of big cities but close enough to bike ride (which they have bikes to use) to some of the closer towns around if you don't mind a few hills to climb. 'Great stay with a wonderful host. The property was more spectacular than the pictures suggest. Very pleased. Great cooking area out by the pool and a wonderful setting in a beautifully presented recently developed cottage/very good sized gite maintaining much of it's original charm.'

'Super place, easy to get to local places like St Romaine, Aubeterre, and Limoges and Cognac. Hosts were very generous—great breakfasts, and made dinner for us one night. We’ll stay there again when we’re in the Chalais area'
