'Maria, who is front of house, was so welcoming and later, in the dining room she tirelessly looked after us and all the other guests. The food was fantastic and I understand her husband is head chef, Joseph Colman. The rooms were attractive and very comfortable with lovely bathrooms. I would certainly recommend this as a wonderful getaway. '

'Our room at the Deri-Down was lovely and comfortable with a large walk-in wardrobe and a modern well equipped en-suite shower room. There was a multi-channel TV, a small fridge with milk, tea/cofffee provided. The landlady was very helpful and allowed my son and his wife to change in our room for the wedding we were all going to. 'We were here for a few days to explore this part of Wales. This house with self-catering rooms was ideal for our stay. A short walk away is a wonderful cafe with fresh baked goods and a nice espresso. The town centre is a short distance down the hill where there are a few pubs, shops and restaurants. There are some great hiking opportunities nearby as well. '

'Staff were fantastic from checking in to servicing the room and our needs. Nothing was any trouble. Restaurant staff were amazing along with all the chefs. Food was amazing cannot fault any meal we had. Nice garden area to sit outside The only thing to mention is outside our hotel room door (room 5 first floor) there must be a generator as every morning from 7am onwards.
