'Jean was a lovely host and the cottage was just the right size for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs. I liked that there were no amenities that close as it made it a really quiet retreat. 'Paid for 5 nights, stayed for 1. Host ignored multiple messages, phone number wouldn’t connect. Pillows and pullout mattress beyond unsanitary. Overpowering odour throughout property. Weirdly, there was attention to detail in some areas. Beautiful setting, well maintained garden, great location. Such wasted potential from an uncaring host.
