'BEWARE, this property greatly lacks security! The listing does (minimally) state that there is no staff on site. Yet, My wife & I were given entry into the building without having completed the supposed mandatory online check-in, having only spoken to someone through the Ring doorbell camera. We found that the key lock box for our room has been improperly closed by the previous guest, with our room key literally falling out of the lock box when we entered the house. 'Nice, old classy place, well kept with up to date furniture and a mini frig stocked with free snacks and drinks, but the advertised free self-parking is only in the street, which fills up quickly. They have a small front yard where a few vehicles can park after checking in for a cost of ten (10) British pounds.'

'We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen, meneer nam ons mee naar een soort kantoor waar hij de sleutels gaf en liet ons de kamers zien. Geen lift aanwezig, gastheer droeg zelf een van de koffers naar boven. Kamers zijn heel eenvoudig, gedateerd en krap. Voor ons niet hinderlijk. Hygiene in het sanitair kon beter. 'Seemed clean enough but was a bit of a dive. Noisy with fire doors banging. Parking to check in was difficult until got access to the parking thru the barrier, probably limited parking if you arrive late.'

'One night last minute booking and was overall happy with what we paid for. Lovely Bindi greeted us on arrival with smiles and a bottle of water (could of been cold tho) she was very friendly shown us the shared kitchen area but we didnt need to use. After she shown us to our twin room which was nicely decorated with an onsuite bathroom. Room had wardrobe, side table, tv, kettle tea/coffee, WiFi, free standing fan. 'We didn’t even enter this place. When the taxi stopped outside we realized our error; it was a small private house which someone was renting out. I should have looked at the details more carefully. However my low rating really relates to the difficulty of checking in. They asked us to complete a form which was impossible to do on a phone and troublesome to do on a laptop whilst waiting in the baggage hall at Heathrow. A huge pain. We found a hotel instead.'
