For groups larger than 7 people, there is a separate bunkhouse with 2 twin/twin bunk beds (sleeps up to 4 more) for additional cost($100 a night for the whole bunk house)

A short hour and a half drive north of Winnipeg brings you to this luxurious 1570 square foot 3 bedroom with 2 full baths which sleeps up to 7. All new beds, sofa and recliners. Satellite tv as well as countless movies, games and kids toys for those rainy days if they show up. Massive windows overlook the lake, while 3 patio doors access the full length deck filled with patio furniture, loungers and a wood pellet/smoker bbq. Separate large 2 level deck down at shoreline houses more patio furniture, loungers, and dock. Firepit in back yard. There are 2 sand beaches in the area as well as 2 boat launches. Grindstone Park also has a small convenience store for your basic necessities, including liquor. A fantastic location for fishing, water sports and some well deserved R and R. The entire cottage development is linked with hiking trails. Rental includes canoe, water toys, pedal bikes, firewood and all linens and towels. Drilled well for water supply but you may want to bring bottled water in case you don’t care for the taste. Minimum rental period of 7 days in June, July and August, Friday to Friday. Other shorter rental periods of 3 days may be available occasionally. Please contact for possible availability.

Nice getaway
This is a very comfortable cabin with lots of amenities. The kitchen is better equipped than many places we've stayed. The whole area is very quiet, especially during the weekdays. The weather was pleasant enough for us to eat almost all of our meals out on the very spacious deck. We enjoyed hiking and biking on some of the nearby trails. There is a large, sandy beach only a few kilometres north of the cabin. The four year old in our group loved looking for and picking wild raspberries. All in all, we had a lovely stay.

Beautiful rustic cabin
This quiet and well appointed cottage is located inside grindstone provincial park and was around 1 hrs 45 mins from Winnipeg. It has nice lakefront access for fishing or swimming off the dock and my school aged kids loved it. They caught walleye, catfish, drum, and pike all off the dock. There's a beach that we could canoe or walk to just at the end of the cottage keyhole. Nice firepit to roast marshmallows on. The kitchen was well equipped, and there is a nice bbq smoker which we used to prepare some ribs. Perfect for getting off the grid and just relaxing. We were there during a heat wave, and the cottage got quite hot in the afternoons with no AC, but on days when it was 29 celsius and below, it was fine. One oddity of note: there were no curtains or window coverings on any of the windows in the bedrooms, so the rooms were quite bright in the evenings and mornings and on the hot sunny days, the cottage just got hotter and hotter. But overall, this was a great place for a family to rest and relax and enjoy lake life. Don was an excellent host, and answered my questions with timely and helpful responses. We would definitely stay here again!

It was a great family vacation. The pictures on the website matched the actual place 😀 Lots of toys for the 3 year old which was very appreciated. The only thing I could say might be an improvement would be some blinds on the bedroom windows (privacy, however more importantly darkness so the children believed it was night time).

The house is perfect lake view! We loved the house as it felt like home the minute we walked in.
The owner, Don, is very attentive and prompt. House is like a home and the kitchen is very well equipped. Gorgeous lake view and great property, well treed. Loved our week at this house and hope to return next year!

Perfect Spot
We had a friends weekend and everything was perfect! The view was amazing, and we spent the entire day out on the dock in the sun. Thank you for allowing us to stay and I’m sure you will have a few new renters out of our group.
