Amitola is an ideal place for multi-generational families to gather together and enjoy each other's company. It is nestled in a peaceful gated community with full time residents around.

The main level features an incredibly spacious living room with a 22 foot high ceilings accented by large wooden beams, a beautiful stone gas-log fireplace, a beautiful rustic chandelier, and wormy oak built-in cabinets, shelving, wall panels, and flooring. A 65” Smart TV with Roku hangs over the fireplace, and there is a selection of plush leather sectional sofa and recliners facing this focal point. Admire the stunning 6 foot by 10 foot hand carved bas relief wall hanging over the front door, oriental rugs, and a wall of windows with forest and mountain views.

Off the living room are French doors to just one of the many wonderful places to relax at Amitola: the three-season screened-in deck room with the outdoor stone wood burning fireplace, 55" TV with Roku, and comfortable outdoor seating, plus a dining area. Also off the living room is the foyer with a large custom made 42-inch-wide solid door, a coat closet, electronics closet, an extra wide stairway to the uppermost level, and a hallway.

Back inside you'll find a large dining area with a large round table that seats 8, a curved wall of windows with panoramic views, doors to the deck, and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with GE Monogram stainless steel appliances including a gas range with grill and a large exhaust hood, double ovens with warming drawer, trash compactor, extra-large capacity refrigerator and freezer, wine chiller, granite countertops. The kitchen also offers a built-in desk, a bar with four stools, and another doorway to the covered portion of the main level deck with a gas grill and outdoor furniture.

The living room east hallway leads to the laundry room with washer and dryer, utility sink, built in ironing board, and granite countertops and a beautiful half bathroom with granite countertops. The garage may be accessed through the laundry room, as well.

The sumptuous main level suite features a King-sized bed, TV with Roku, access to the deck, and a large private bathroom with double shower with dual shower heads, a Jacuzzi tub with back massage and its own TV with Roku, heated tile floor, granite vanities, and a large walk-in closet with solid built-in wooden shelving.

From the living room up the wrought iron and log railings staircase is the loft area. This large space features a wet bar, queen size sleeper sofa, TV with Roku, a small desk, hi-top table, desk, and a full bathroom with shower and granite countertops. Three more bedrooms are on this floor: a bedroom with a King bed, a bedroom with two Twin beds, and a bedroom with two Queen beds. These three bedrooms share access to the full bathroom on this level as well as the full bathroom down another set of stairs near the garage.

Directly below the main level is the upper entertainment room with a Proline pool table, a clear Cypress wet bar with under-the-counter refrigerator, granite countertops, and two stools made from saddles, a stone gas log fireplace, a leather recliner and a massaging recliner, a 55" HD TV with Roku, a curved wall of windows, and a door out to the lower deck.

Off of this entertainment den is a bedroom suite with 2 full sized beds and TV with Roku and a private full bathroom with double granite vanity, a large tub and shower, and heated tile floors. The bathroom also opens to the hallway. Near the pool table is another bedroom suite with a king bed and TV with Roku with deck access and a private bathroom with single vanity with granite top, heated tile floor, and shower.

Below this level is another sure to be popular entertainment area with a poker table, a full swing golf practice room with driving range type tee off mat, movie theater room with Roku and DVD player, and a bedroom suite with Queen size bed and bathroom with steam shower. There is also a ping pong table in the garage.

Within a very short drive of the home are wonderful resort amenities available to you and your family. Yonahlossee Resort features an indoor heated 25-yard lap pool, ping pong table, a newly renovated full fitness facility, a game room with ping-pong table, pool table, and foosball, and a wine and beer bar with fireplace, soft seating, sand shuffleboard, and darts. Amitola is very conveniently located less than 15 minutes to the wonderful shopping and dining in both Boone and Blowing Rock. It's even within delivery distances for grocery and food delivery! Two of the best fine dining restaurants in the entire High Country are less than five minutes away: The Gamekeeper and The Table at Crestwood (reservations recommended at both.) All of the best High Country attractions are within a short and scenic drive away, including Tweetsie Railroad (20 minutes), Valle Crucis (15 minutes), the town of Banner Elk (25 minutes), Grandfather Mountain (30 minutes), Sugar Mountain (25 minutes), and Ski Beech (40 minutes).

Additional Notes:
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing any pets or requesting an exception to this rule.
- This home is equipped with devices that monitor the environment inside the property and outside on the deck (including noise levels, temperature, and motion) to ensure guests have a pleasant stay and our neighbors are not disturbed. Additionally, there is one exterior security camera pointed at the driveway.
- There is a VERY STRICT outside noise ordinance at 10:00pm each day as per the neighborhood. All guests are expected to keep conversations at normal levels and not play music outside after 10:00pm. Violators will be evicted without refund. Remember that sound carries for long distances in the mountains due to our geography!
- EVENTS WITH VENDORS OR OTHER LARGE GATHERINGS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED AT THIS PROPERTY. Violators will be evicted from the property with no refund.
- Air conditioning is on the bottom-most and upper-most floors ONLY. The main level and level directly below the main have mini-split air conditioning in the kitchen and pool table areas only.
- Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a fire starter for $25/night plus tax
- Check-in is after 4pm and Check-out is by 10am.
-This home has a paved driveway, and there is a 3 car garage. 5 vehicle limit.
- Please note that while the home has an elevator, it is not available for guest use.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- Enjoy access to Yonahlossee Resort amenities for a small fee! Guests must pay a $10 per day per person base fee to use the pool, gym, and game room. If more than 3 people, the base fee will be $25 for club use. To access outdoor tennis and pickleball courts, the fee is an additional $10 per person and is $20 per person for indoor tennis and pickleball courts.

CANCELLATION POLICY -
Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit.
Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit.
Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest.
All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
