'Definitely a place to stay for the outdoor lovers! My 3 year old loved exploring the creek. We found so many insects and critters to looks at. The house is a little dated but met all our needs and aligned to our expectations and the photos. Really great outdoor entertaining area that I wish we could have used more!'

'You can definitely feel the love that went into this space. Lisa and Stephen built an amazing treehouse, and the whole property is very special. It's very unique and well crafted, with a lovely view of the mountains through the trees. It's rustic yet also very comfortable and cozy. The clawfoot tub and fire stove make it especially relaxing.'

'This was a wonderful place to stay for a weekend of hiking/visiting Boone. The tiny house was very clean, had a good amount of space for two people, and had a great porch with beautiful views. The check-in/check-out process was easy and we had clear communication and instructions from the host. We also had a chance for some good stargazing at night. All around great place to stay.'

It is beautifully landscaped and the sound of the river in front and from the Gazebo in back is the most relaxing, peaceful place I’ve ever felt in our beautiful North Carolina mountains. 'My wife and I stayed here to get some skiing in, and it was perfect for us. We enjoyed the convenience to Sugar Mtn, and the wood burning fireplace. The host was super accommodating and very quick with responses to questions. He was also on point with checkin instructions and guidance. Thank You!'

For the same price as a traditional cottage, we got to bask in the beauty of 19th century architecture, at least 40 foot ceilings, and homey touches that made everything inviting.
