'Dickon and Simon are excellent hosts. Great informative checkin and a stunning barn containing everything you could want. The courtyard is beautiful as is the decking at the back overlooking the lovely garden and pool. Great location, 2 min walk to little brasserie and a well stocked local supermarket. Easy to travel and experience the Dordogne. Highly recommended.'

'We have stayed in a number of Gites in the Dordogne for a number of years now but this one is by far the best place we’ve stayed in. The location being 10 minutes drive to Bergerac airport and within easy access to the Bastide towns makes it an ideal base to explore the area. The property has everything you need and the manager, Chrystelle was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely return to Fontoursine again in future'

'Wij verbleven hier 2 weken met 2 kinderen (13 en 15 jaar oud). Huisje was zeer schoon en volledig uitgerust (met name de keuken en goede wifi). Prive zwembad was ook heerlijk en netjes (meerdere keren per week schoongemaakt). Verhuurders respecteren je privacy. Vanaf ons terras 3x reeen gezien. Omgeving is prachtig en er is veel te zien en te doen. Kortom, een aanrader!'

'Een zalig verblijf in een heerlijke accomodatie, met alles op en aan (inclusief zwembad). En super aardige gastvrouw en gastheer, die ons op afstand lieten genieten van het prachtige weer, maar die op de minste vraag graag insprongen met al wat kon. We komen hier zeker terug !'

'We had a great time in St. Avit! The region is wonderful. It feels like it doesn't matter in which direction you drive, there is always another gorgeous village with at least one great restaurant. The house is cozy and the kids had a lot of fun in the pool.'

'Très agréable séjour dans une maison qui offre toutes les commodités ! Nous n'avions pas besoin de sortir ! Tout était là ! Un très joli parc arboré où Mr le paon prenait plaisir à déambuler ! La piscine, un véritable atout, notamment par sa taille (9×5 m), fut très appréciée pendant ces jours de forte canicule ! On ne risque pas de s'y ennuyer avec tous les jeux qu'elle propose, de la table de billard, aux jeux de société, en passant par le baby-foot ! Finalement, chacun y trouve son compte !...

'Een fijne gîte met alle comfort, met een fantastisch zwembad, omgeven door een grote en mooie tuin. Heel rustig gelegen, tussen de wijngaarden. Een fantastische streek, dichtbij Bergerac en historische dorpen. Het kasteel van Monbazillac ligt vlakbij. Supervriendelijke en warme gastheer Serge en gastvrouw Béatrice die de privacy respecteren maar tot en met behulpzaam zijn. Dank voor de warme ontvangst, de onverwachte en lekkere proevertjes en de onvergetelijke soirée gourmande op het wijndomein....

'Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances au Bugue, les propriétaires sont très sympa et ouvert. La maison est jolie et spatieuse et le jardin est grand avec assez de l'ombre ce qu'était vraiment necessaire pendant la forte canicule. M Toutefois, la décoration est un peu datée et un peu prête pour un renouvellement (le frigo, les coussins des sièges du jardin..). Ce jolie maison a besoin d'un petit peu d'attention en d'amour et ce sera parfait pour y retourner!'

'We spent two weeks at this perfectly located house in Issegiac. It had everything we wanted and needed and what lay beyond - in the village and the whole region - had some much more. The property is cosy and comfortable but extremely well equipped - if so inclined you could return home to cook every meal (although the restaurants right nearby and in every town make it a hard choice).
