Place was great. Dishwasher didn’t work initially but reset it and it was fine. Awesome beach and house for the price point. Definitely recommend.

The host did not communicate unti I complained about so much garbage in the garage-it smelled awful. There were ants in the bed I slept in all the time, and there was a huge storm during which time water came in through the window in the living room and soaked our Christmas presents. the skirt around the tree was sopping wet. there was water coming through the window in the room I slept in. The soft furniture in the living room was dirty- nobody loves this house! we had a good time anyway, but I do not think tht this house should be rented until some work is done on the water issues and the dirty furniture. The house and the view were outstanding. The house was very clean when we arrived however it was shabby looking because of lack of general maintenance. There was quick response by John and Robert from Vacasa to try and resolve some of the issues.

The location, view, and near by amenities in the town are hard to beat. We stayed here last year and will do so again next year. If you’re looking for quiet relaxation and good family time this is the place.

Wonderful views and ample gathering area for our group of 9. Easy walk to the beach. Pretty much everything worked. Great communication before and after the rental. Offered early check-in and late check-out (for 115) before we asked.

Amazing views!! The house has a lot of levels and angles which was odd but was also good in providing private spaces for everyone in our group. The listing indicates 5 bedrooms. We actually had to call the management to find the 5th room. You have to walk through the garage (which had typical garage cement floor, dust, spider webs, washer/dryer and ping pong table) to access it. No one in our group wanted to be there for good reason. It felt like a basement, slightly below ground level and a weird isolating vibe. However it was well equipped with a kitchenette and full bathroom.

Beautiful house

This was a beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood! The house was quite large and clean for our family vacation. The separate bedroom and bathroom off the garage was perfect for a little quiet for some family members since the rest of the house was full of little kids. The fenced in outdoor areas were great for the kids too.

Location is amazing! House needs work. Electrical, stained couches, mold and overall TLC. The listing also says a queen bed in one of the rooms, but it’s a set of trundle beds.

Peaceful oceanfront retreat

My recent two-night stay at this stunning oceanfront property was absolutely incredible! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the breathtaking ocean views—waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sunset from the living room was pure magic.The property was impeccably clean, with modern furnishings and everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, offering both privacy and easy access to nearby attractions. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a luxurious, peaceful escape by the sea.

Save by the view

The location was perfect, 5 minutes walk to the beach with breathtaking view.Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing about the condition of the house. There were ants almost everywhere, especially in the kitchen and the sitting area upstairs. There was a dirty knives in the drawer. Most of the dishes, especially the serving dishes had to be re-washed. The kettle has a brown chunk of something in it. The worse part was the ants on the beds, the got into our bags, and a very large stain in the bedsheet down in the room by the garage. There were stains on the sitting area upstairs, blinds and walls.i reported this issue via text messages with pictures. Someone was supposed to call but no one ever did.The house is very unique and we don't mind the stairs, but definitely need some love and care.

Family Time

Perfect place to spend time with family and if you needed time alone there is space for that. It was well stocked with supplies and we didn’t have to drive far to get to the beach.

Mice infestation!!!

Location: beautiful. House: old and needs remodeling but was comfortable. Experience: TERRIBLE!!!! Upon arrival to the house, we received a text from the property manager, saying that they were aware of mice infestation in the property. The garage door was broken and visibly open. There was trash on the floor in the garage and animals got in there and threw all the trash that was not taken away prior to our arrival. There were mice droppings in several parts of the house, including the kitchen, the cabinets, the closets, around the dining room and living room and inside the couches. We requested to be moved to another property, but they didn’t have a house big enough for our group. Due to that, we requested the property manager to have the cleaning staff come and clean the house again. We had to leave the house for half-day in order for them to come and they did a very poor job to the point that the property manager had to come back and clean again the kitchen himself! We had mouse traps all over the house, six mice were caught, and we have pictures!!! We tried several times to contact management to see what they could do about this situation and they denied the request. These was the worst experience we’ve ever had. Even though the Area is beautiful and the house is big enough to hold a big group, I would not recommend these to anybody who spends a lot of money in hopes to stay in a clean and comfortable house.

Family get away

Million dollar views- worth every penny! The walk down to the ocean might not be for everyone- a bit steep. We loved the access to the beach! We appreciated the binoculars available to whale watch. The handle in the half bath was broken and the garage door handle is about to fall off too. We were unable to lock the slider to the BBQ. We did not use the hot tub to comment. We also did not use the room off the garage. That room would offer a lot of privacy if someone wanted- kind of hidden. The kitchen and floors could use major cleaning. There are sugar ants in the drawers, counters and floors. There are cobwebs everywhere. Our rooms for each of us were comfortable. The house is laid out very well for family gatherings. Loved the large round table for meals and games. The living room spaces had plenty of room too. First time to Bodega Bay to stay and we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Bodega Getaway

We had our friends from out of town. They were amazed at the beautiful view. The house was perfect for our event. Walking around the neighborhood was lovely. We will be back again. This was our 4th time renting your beautiful home.

Staff retreat

The home was a perfect place for our staff Retreat. Plenty of room to relax and unwind. The problem we had is with the heating system or lack of. It was a crazy windy , rainy cold weekend. The first night we were freezing! The pellet stove had no pellets and a few of the space heaters were broken. John from Vacasa was wonderful. He got to the house as quick as he could with pellets , no luck , the igniter was not working. He also showed me where the 5th bedrooom is. The next evening Cristy? Showed up in the crazy storm with two space heaters , which saved us. The sliders upstairs and the front door were leaking really bad. We had to use quite a few beach towels to maintain it. It was extremely windy. We spent the day at Bodega bay lodge getting massages and relaxing in the pool and hot tub. Overall we had a great time. We loved the big round table and all the large windows. The house has amazing views and the room upstairs is very comfortable and a great place to gather. I wish we could have gone out for walks, the location of the house is perfect. Mother Nature was in full force with thunder and lightning.

Super Bowl with a view

AMAZING VIEWS. We have stayed at multiple homes over the years in Bodega and this is our favorite so far. Every bedroom has and en-suite, that’s a plus! Primary bedroom has amazing views of the ocean. Bright, clean, overall a nice place to getaway and recharge. Management was very responsive.
