Great home. We had a family of 5 including a 10year old girl and a pet. The propertynis very nicely maintained, furnished, and appointed. About 10min our so to downtown Blue Ridge and to Lake Blue Ridge. We especially appreciated the A outdoor porch space and fenced back yard. We would def rent this one again if returning to Blue Ridge.
The cabin itself was amazing! It was just like the pictures, and we could spend all day on the back porch. The kitchen was easy to navigate and had everything you needed to make dinner for the family. The house has so many places to hide away and relax within, it really offers the perfect retreat space for the whole family. It's only a short walk to access the lake, so bring your paddleboards and enjoy swimming in Lake Blue Ridge. The road to the cabin is tricky with just one lane of traffic in the neighborhood, but we never had any issues. The check-in was not perfect as our code did not work to unlock the front door, and without Wi-Fi, there is NO CELL service. After a few phone calls, they were able to provide us with a new code that worked. Another complication was that if you visit during a holiday weekend when everyone is at their cabin, there is limited water pressure in the afternoon or evening. You can shower or run the dishwasher, but not at the same time on a typical day, then add in holiday traffic, and there was almost no water coming out of the sinks at times. Hopefully, the vacation group can fix this issue before the next renter arrives.Even with those challenges, I would still 100% stay at this mountain retreat the next time we come to visit Blue Ridge.
Property was great. View and space was lovely. Clunky process of booking through VRBO and still dealing with a third-party property management company for additional information and steps. Early access and normal access code not working left a couple of our party outside for over an hour, complicated by poor cell service in the area.
