VT Football VT and Radford Graduation Rental - Peaceful and private setting

We would love to open our home to you to come cheer the Hokies on at a football game, a visit during parents weekend or to celebrate a loved one's graduation. Our home is in a peaceful country setting with more privacy than you can imagine and only 5 minutes to Virginia Tech campus. Our home is located on 35 acres of private property with amazing views. Everything you need is included - full cable package, WiFi, towels, linens, outdoor grill, and equipped kitchen. Three bedrooms - two king beds, one queen and three full baths. Plus, two full living rooms.

We have acquired an outdoor kitty (he found us!) that you may or may not see. During your stay we will pop in at a convenient time to feed him in the detached garage, but will not interfere with your stay.

We are also conveniently located to Radford University with a 30 minute drive.

Amazing place to stay in Blackburg

Great home up in the mountains but close to Virginia Tech. The house is super well maintained with amazing views. It has a great flow with decks and patios all around to take in the perfect views.

Beautiful and Convenient Location

Our visit for a football game was made even better by getting to stay in Carol Sue’s wonderful home. The setting was so peaceful with beautiful views and visits from wildlife. Felt fortunate we got this experience and it was also only a short drive to campus. The home with all its charm and amenities made for a very comfortable stay. We hope to return again for sure.

Great Weekend

Unbelievable property and view. Went to VT for game which was postponed due to severer weather. It was so great to go back to house, watch other football and hang out under deck in the dry patio until the game was restarted in the evening. Owners were great and the house was clean and well organized. Thank you again for a great weekend. PS watching the deer walk through the front lawn was amazing!!!

Football weekend

Three adult couples had an absolutely lovely weekend. The house had three large bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Clean, two large sitting/TV areas, nicely appointed with the necessary amenities, as well as the little touches that make a stay so enjoyable. The property just had a "vibe" and was so relaxing. We had a 7 hour drive, and the property itself is worth it. And that's not even considering how much fun downtown Blacksburg is on a football weekend. The location is fabulous. Short drive to downtown Blacksburg, and the views from the multiple decks and porches, were just "WOW". Family of deer wandering the yard in the morning, friendly cat would pop by in the evenings, and the sunrises on the deck were spectacular. I'm generally not one for hyperbole, but it was a perfect weekend. Well, VT didn't win, but that couldn't dampen the weekend. We can't wait to go back. I would recommend the host and property to everyone, as long as it doesn't interfere with our next visit.

Wonderful Views, Wonderful Stay!

We were a group of 6 in town for a VA Tech football game and college visit (grandparents, parents, 2 high school seniors). Our stay was delightful - from the location to the communication with the owner to the beautiful sunrises. We'd definitely stay here again if we end up with a second-generation Hokie in the family!

What a fantastic experience both with the property and the great hosts. The house sits on a hill overlooking a beautiful field and a backdrop of the Blue Ridge and has wonderful decks to be able to relax outside and take it all in. The house itself has everything we could have wanted and was comfortable for our group. A great option for a game weekend!!

Blacksburg Football Weekend

Lovely house with amazing views just 15min from VT campus. We stayed with two other couples and had plenty of room. After visiting the campus Saturday morning we came back to grill/tailgate at the house for lunch before heading back for more tailgating and the game. We had a great time and Carol Sue was very easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home and would recommend it to others. Great property and house!

A little outside of town, but that suited us just fine. The house was what we needed and it was super. We got greeted by deer and turkeys each morning, had a great deck to enjoy the wonderful views and the house was stocked with whatever we could want. The owners were very attentive and responsive to questions and I would definetely plan to stay there again.

Relaxing Retreat after a VT home game

This home has beautiful views and we loved sitting outside on the porches, enjoying the start of each morning as well as the quiet evenings. The house sleeps three couples quite comfortably - each having their own bath. The kitchen is well stocked and the living spaces are spacious. We enjoyed inviting our VT students to come out for pizza after the home game and there were plenty of seating areas for our families. The drive to campus is easy to navigate. The house is very clean and the homeowners are very responsive, paying attention to every detail. We will definitely consider planning a return trip to this home!

Amazing view, so much room, everything you need for a relaxing getaway!

Carol Sue was an absolute amazing host. She was very accommodating to all of our needs and very responsive by both phone and text. The house is fully equipped with everything you need from multiple fridges, freezers, cooler, gas grill, kitchen, and kitchen items. It has a nice long gravel road driveway with a very private setting (like you see in the movies). Nice large grill, and she even had the grill nice and clean and a full propane tank waiting for us. My family and I took beautiful photos with the panoramic views of the blue ridge mountains. Plenty of outdoor sitting locations and we had visits from a family of deer in the early mornings. The sunrise is beautiful extending over the blue ridge mountains with a point blank view. We're hoping to stay at this house again if available in 10 years for my nephews graduation from Virginia Tech! Absolutely loved it!
