'This is a wonderful lil piece of heaven under the stars tucked up a lil Hollar road. Decor was new and very nice. Everyone was friendly and very nice to help anyway. 'A perfect spot for us and our dog. Sit on enclosed porch and see purple martins working hard feeding their babies. Pond visible from porch and geese flew in and out daily. Loved the flowers as I garden all the time. We visited/hiked four state parks and had a blast.'

'My wife and I stayed at the Yurt while traveling down I81 and I-77 from Baltimore to South Carolina. The Yurt has all the conveniences of home and is a welcomed alternative to the typical roadside motels. We had an issue with the door lock (operator error). The owner answered my call and walked me through the problem. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.'

'Very nice cozy cabin, close to AT and trails, 30 minutes to Roanoke. Nicely appointed with kitchen items, seating etc. Driveway is steep and gravel with some concrete for traction at sharp turn and ok after a trip up and down but more of a challenge in the dark. Secluded and quiet and a great place to relax. Bring binoculars if you’re into birds, saw scarlet tanagers, ovenbirds, pileated woodpeckers +'

'Our favorite thing about this property was the awesome river access. The kids had the best time playing in the river and the huge yard. The house had plenty of space for two families with children. The owner was always quick to respond to any questions we had. I would recommend having a few more utensils in the kitchen and more towels/wash cloths for guests but overall this is a great place to escape reality and just chill. We truly enjoyed our quiet, secluded long weekend on the river.'
