« LOVED the cabin and the property! It was super clean and our screened in porch was perfect sitting out in the evening and drinking our morning coffee. The drive was a little intimidating at first but so worth the drive up the mountain!! What a view! »

« The cabin was charming, peaceful, and easy to access. It felt private without being so secluded that I felt completely isolated. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the cabin was thoughtfully stocked with everything I needed. The hosts were very responsive and made the entire stay easy and enjoyable. We would gladly stay here again! »

« The view from this cozy cabin was so beautiful. We could eat breakfast out on the covered deck even in the rain. Everything one needs in a kitchen was there, good cookware and cooktop. Cozy blankets helped on cool nights. Highly rrecommend. »

« This place is FANTASTIC!! It's quiet, peaceful, and has incredible views of the mountains. Don't let the drive up intimidate you because it is worth it!! The hosts are so nice and have paid attention to all the details that made staying here special, from the automatic nightlight in the bathroom to the games in the living area. I have now convinced myself I need a small cabin tucked high in the woods because I didn't want to leave. Black Mountain and Montreat are small towns with so much charm...

« This cabin was perfect! It’s private and the natural setting around it is idyllic. Be warned: the paved drive up is STEEP!! But we made it up and had room to turn around at the top even in our huge SUV towing a 5x10 trailer. We baked coffee cake muffins, made breakfasts and dinners here, hung out and watched FIFA World Cup games, talked, laughed, and slept well in our cozy comfy beds. We were within easy access of the town and really enjoyed the antique and craft stores. Fresh Woodfired Pizza...

« Beautiful home nestled in the mountains with fantastic views! Our family of 9 (6 adults, 3 children and dogs) spent the week here and it had plenty of room! Clean and well-maintained; one of a very few rentals where my husband hasn’t had to repair something during our stay. Communication with the host was a breeze. An unexpected plus was seeing two July 4 fireworks shows in the valley below from the huge deck! We would stay here again »
