'Great, private location. As advertised. Enjoyed the fireplace but didn’t have time for outdoor fire. Well-appointed - incl. puzzles and games - and clean in all the places that mattered. The one twin bed (far side of room) could use a new mattress so it can be more comfortably used by adults. Or better yet, replace it with a double bed so all 3 couples can be comfortable. Appreciated all the provided info on hikes. Should’ve stayed longer so we could’ve explored them. Thanks!'

'I was on a road trip visiting family and friends in NC from New Orleans. This was the perfect "glamping" cozy cabin. Exactly what I needed for 2 nights after camping in the cold! The owners are very responsive and the listing is accurate. The heater was so good I had to turn it down and the bed was incredibly cozy, perfect for solo travelers or couples. I will definitely be back, the grounds they're working on renovating right now seem like the perfect family weekend or girl trips to the woods...

'This is our second time at Ma & Pa's because we love it so much. It feels straight out of a fairytale. We go to work, reconnect, and relax which is hard to nail all at once, but this cabin helps us do just that. It is close enough to town to hop out and grab a bite, but cozy enough to stay in and cook. We do both. We love crossing the bridge to get in the cabin and the lights at night make it feel magical.
