'We had a wonderful stay in Montignac-Charente. The apartment is a short walk to the town center and we enjoyed stopping in at the patisserie and the cafe. A full grocery store is a short drive away. Our dogs also loved long walks along the country roads beside fields filled with sunflowers. Our host met us when we arrived, kindly showed us how everything worked, and even gifted us some apple preserves that tasted fabulous on our morning croissants. There was more than enough room for the 4 of us...

'Nous avons passé une très bon séjour à Cognac. Il manque sans doute quelques petites choses dans la cuisine pour satisfaire pleinement les convives. Il y a une bonne literie. Je conseille ce logement.'

'We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. We would love to come back again as a group or with others - thank you so much.'

'Lovely overall 10-day stay with our 2 families in this beautifully decorated and well appointed house; plenty of room, comfy beds, fantastic water pressure, amazing social family kitchen with range cooker, fridge freezer and drinks fridge. 'There's such detail in La Paranthese. Attention paid to every detail of your spa stay from hot tub to stream room to message room (we only used the hot tub). Jimmy and Dorothee (she helps tremendously with English) are awesome. We thoroughly loved our stay and walked to our favorite cognac maker. Please stay here. 'Absolutely brilliant two weeks. Enjoyed listening to the river as well as drifting along in it. Saw wonderful wildlife. Perfect and tranquil setting. Elaine and Richard were perfect hosts, there if needed but both us and them had privacy. Would highly recommend '
