Our Soothing Sunsets Lake House is available for your retreats or vacations!

Year-round, the Soothing Sunset Lake House is a wonderful place to relax and spend time with family and friends. Now that Summer is here, my Soothing Sunsets Lakehouse could be the perfect spot for your friends and family to gather together to enjoy a time of relaxation, game playing, playing pool, or just having a good time together. We have installed a new gas stove and double oven In the kitchen, a new gas fireplace in the living room, and a new AC/Heater unit in the sunroom to keep your stay as comfortable as possible! The Lakehouse is a great place to be to hang out or just to enjoy the serenity of the lake. We have also just installed a Generac generator. Last April , we removed our old dock and replaced it with a larger 2 slip dock with a Trex composite deck. And finally, we enlarged our front porch to give more sitting room!

Our beautiful lakefront home has a sunroom, recreation room, living room, fully equipped kitchen, large counter high dining table, 3 large bedrooms, and 2 1/2 baths. The primary bedroom has a King sized bed and a twin bed. The “Bunk Room “ has a Queen sized, Full sized, and Twin size bed, plus a twin child sized sleeping chair/bed! The third bedroom has a comfortable Queen sized bed and a twin child sized sleeping chair/bed! There’s a wonderfully comfortable sleeping chair in the living room for someone who stays awake longer than the rest, or who just likes to wake up with the sunshine.

Step out from the sun room to a large deck overlooking another smaller deck with hot tub. The air is so clean and there is only the sounds of birds singing to make your visit so enjoyable. You might even see a wild deer or two.

Our recreation room has a pool table, electronic dart board, and media center with a 65" television with Satellite TV, a 3-seat sofa, a 2- seater recliner rocker, a swivel rocker with rocking footstool, a large bar equipped with stemware and beer glasses with two bar stools; and a pub table with three stools. There’s a mini fridge and a chest freezer in the recreation room to hold your food and drinks whenever you need them.

If you need to do work, there is a desk that is available in the house. Internet and Wifi is available as well.

Our home has a private dock to fish from. Our new dock has two slips and a deck to enjoy fishing or swimming in the lake. It has lights, power, WiFi, and fans! In the fall and winter, the water is lower; but sitting on the dock can still be enjoyable. In the spring and summer, it is fun to fish from the dock or take your boat out on the river!
With three different indoor living spaces and three different outdoor gathering spaces, my guests scan always find something fun to do! We have games for the family to play, DVD's of movies to watch, a pool table and dart board to keep you entertained. With three separate living areas, you should never feel crowded in the house.

If you want to get away and see some of the local sites, I have put together a large notebook of useful information to include where to go golfing; shopping; wine tasting; dining; antiquing; hiking; and gambling. I've done all the research for you. These places and things to do include the surrounding area and Nashville. All the information is located in my notebook in the foyer when you walk in!

If staying indoors and just chilling, my kitchen is perfect for your needs. My kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, coffee maker, ice-tea maker and water kettle. I supply the coffee pods and teas for my guests.

There is no limit to your vacation entertainment. If you have questions about what to do, where to go, what to bring - I am just a phone call away! My guests are treated with a brief explanation of important details, and then you are left to enjoy your memorable vacation!
