Overall this was a great stay. The views are wonderful and the property had all of the necessities. It was very close to town which made it convenient to walk. The only drawbacks were that the downstairs shows a kitchenette but did not have a cook top or even a microwave, only a toaster so you couldn't actually use it and the community spa was inoperable and actually moldy. The pictures were all accurate except the dock. I pictured my kids being able to walk out on the dock as shown but there was no dock. I would stay here again for the convenience of location and the beautiful views, just know what to expect.

Great location! Beautiful view. Plenty of room. Everything was very clean and had all the basic amenities needed to start your stay. Plenty of parking and easy to walk to The Villages. The place we had was an older but we weren’t too concerned as we had two younger children with us and didn’t have to worry about them breaking anything. The separate ‘room’ through the garage was nice if you want some privacy from your other guests. The kitchenware could use some updating and some bakeware/casserole dishes. The showers had great pressure and the cold water was COLD and the hot water was HOT! Will definitely stay here again.

The condo was 3 stories. We hoped the main bedroom was on the 2nd floor with the kitchen but it was actually 1 floor above. The condo was clean but there were alot of stairs which was difficult. The view was really great. Pretty much all windows faced the lake which was nice. The bed in the main room was a rather worn and could use a replacement. The check out time was a bit early at 10 am and they wouldn't approve a 2-hour later check-out which was disappointing since we had to work and drive 4 hours to get there and couldn't arrive until after 8pm. If you don't mind checking out early and lots of stairs, you probably will like this rental.

Great stay in Big Bear!

The property was just as issued. It was clean and had an awesome view of the lake. Check-in was easy after we figured out the lock box. It was walking distance to The Village, also. We had a great time!

Older but comfy

Great property for family trip with teens/adult kids. Mom and dad escaped to the private downstairs studio while the kids got the 3rd floor and we all hung together on the 2nd floor main living space. Well stocked amenities and it’s right on the water with an easy walk to the village for restaurants and shopping. Only complaint is the downstairs bed is pretty lumpy and probably ready for an update. Would definitely stay here again

The property has a beautiful view to the lake, quite, clean (inside) and spacious. Definitely, walking distance to the village. Docking can be used only if you have boat, kayak or canoe however you can't swim from the docking area. You have to swim from the shore which it's very muddy. The most disappointed was: we rented because it marked as community outdoor pool and spa/Jacuzzi. How ever it was closed due no maintenance, pool and spa/Jacuzzi were dirty and was tagged by the city due to unsafe to use. There was no site manager even thought vrbo manager responded to our email instantly (Which was the positive sign). Especially we mentioned about the pool condition. They said they would reach out to HOA/Owner but we never got the answer back. No indoor pool and hot tub on site as described. Nice decks every floor however it was covered with heavy bird poops even the stair way walking down to the dock area. We wish they washed the decks before renting out. We couldn't sit out door to enjoy. We have kids and unable to use anything. It had a BBQ grill out door, how ever the flame was very weak and took forever to warm up to 300 degrees so we used to oven instead. We wished the description should be up to date and list all amenities unable to access due to malfunction or under construction. We felt as we paid a high price with bait and switch due to couldn't use any amenities as described.

This was our third annual trip to Big Bear Lake and this was our favorite spot. The location is incredibly central with a short walk to the marina, the village and of course, Tropicali (no trip is complete without). In 5 days, the only time we got in the car was to go to the Alpine Coaster. The view of the lake is wonderful, parking is easy and the condo is very clean and well laid-out. The TV was a great size and pretty new also. We used the grill every night and ate dinner on the deck.
