Blokhutten in Berryville

'My husband and I stayed at this property for a wedding Memorial Day weekend. The place was comfortable cozy and close! We had an issue with the booking and day of the arrival that was dealt with promptly and professional with the owner. Communication was terrific to navigate this miscommunication and the owner made sure that we were able to attend all of the wedding events without compromise. He even offered to allowed us a late check out that was very helpful. I would highly recommend this...

'This cabin exceeded my expectations! If I had known how tranquil and beautiful the surroundings were we would have stayed a whole week! My husband and two 17 year old boys enjoyed the place. We were able to swim and fish in the lake. It was so nice to sit outside with the rustling of the leaves, sound of the cicadas and birds. The sauna and hot tub were nice. Beds were comfy and water pressure for bathing was great. The interior design and the layout of the living/dining room and kitchen was...

'I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but this was just a really, really bad stay. This cabin needs a major overhaul. Check in was at 4, while driving to the cabin we got a text from the host saying the cleaner was going to have to drop in for 20 mins max, to clean a “pet stain” unsure of arrivals time but they would be gone before 9. So we were off to a bad start, but I was still hopeful. Upon arriving to the cabin, we were met with a very pungent odor as soon as we opened the door, smelling...

'Absolutely charming cabin - clean, comfortable and with lovely amenities.'

'Amazing view and well appointed home. We had everything we needed and plenty of space to relax and spread out in. Loved the loft bedroom and fire pit - but the best part was the sunset right out front.'

'Perfect getaway for our family.'

'My husband and I chose the Silo house because of its uniqueness. Overall, it was a neat place to stay.'

'We had a great stay'

'Highly recommended! Beautiful property. Clean and conveniently located near Front Royal. Comfortable bedding and nice bathrooms. Lots of great amenities, including WiFi, a grill, and a nice fire pit. I appreciated the communication with the host and the clear check-in and check-out instructions.'

'The views!!!! The house was absolutely perfect! We can’t wait to come back!'

'The house was very clean and provided everything that we needed for our stay (sheets, towels, kitchen supplies, etc). The location was perfect and matched our needs - out of the way but near Charles Town, Harpers Ferry, and the Appalachian Trail. The hosts communicated well and were easy to work with making booking and checkout especially easy.'

'Absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was exceptional, clean and welcoming. The only suggestion I would make is for a privacy fence at the end of the drive. We had kids on dirt bikes watching us in the hot tub from the end of the drive. Otherwise I would fully recommend. We will stay there again in the future.'

'All around great experience and beautiful spot!'

'What a find!! Was looking for a place to relax and enjoy my wife’s birthday after taking in a local winery. Foxhole was a great cabin, convenient to home, very modern, w/lots of amenities. We’ll be back.'

'Loved the EV charger, the hot tub and the comfortable king bed. I slept really well when I remembered to close the shade on the skylight before bed. The TV has a sort of vast yet minimal set of channels where you can watch things like World Cup games from the 90s and current Ultimate Frisbee. So bring your streaming passwords so you can log in to your own accounts for things you’d actually want to watch. The stairs up to the front porch are on the steep side, especially the first step, so...

'Great little hideout! We loved this little place, accurately described and the communication was superb!'

'Everything was great, well organized.'

'We absolutely lived it! I grew up on a farm and unfortunately have been stuck in urban/suburban places for the last 13. It was so wonderful to be right in the middle of an adorable farm with all the fuzzy and feathered friends!! The tiny house is beautifully and thoughtfully done. All the comforts of home, and then some! The hosts were so warm and welcoming. We only wish we had stayed longer, honestly. We were too late in deciding and it had already been booked. Next time, we will stay longer!...
