'The home was spotless, equipped for us to eat 2 dinners during our stay. Sauna/steam room/master bath were terrific. Nice quiet location 10 minutes from Bayeux for Normandy sightseeing.'

'The host largely ignored our texts and requests. He never came to fix the things that he said would be sorted. The house was generally in a poor state of neglect, fridge door didn't close, kitchen kick board falling off, cooker inadequate for large group. The dishwasher stopped closing at one point and my brother fixed it after borrowing tools from a neighbour. The host just said it was working before. Pool was toxic and not maintained. My great nephew was sick after swallowing the water....

'very nice, clean house. in a nice village. the pictures where exacly as the house is, so what you see is what you get. we where welcomed by Isabelle, a good english speaking, enthousiastic, friendly lady who gave us a tour thrue the house. overall we've had a very nice welcome and stay at this place, which we highly recommend to others.'

'No communications. Hidden costs, held to ransom after arrival to get keys. Dirty And worst of all no bed sheets , pillow cases or duvet covers. When asked where they were was told not listed in ad and hung up on. Agreed the listing didn’t say bedding included but didn’t say it wasn’t and for the expensive cost I would have expected it. This is basically a PGL style bunk house. Avoid at all costs.'
