'This is a family friendly place with ample space for the 6 of us to have our own space. AC was wonderful (portable one in the off space but central in the rest). Hot tub got a lot of use, you can see the neighbors but very quite open space which was also great for excitable kids. Wonderful fire pit, stocked kitchen and grill. We plan to go again next year. 'We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the long weekend! We had 3 generations together celebrating birthdays. The house is spacious yet log cabin cozy in the woods-remote but not too remote. The piano was an added bonus!! We enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit and morning coffee /meals on the deck. Lots of games! Cacapon State Park is a hop, skip and jump away and we hiked each day exploring nature and beautiful views. Cacapon also has a nice gift shop and a cute beach, we never made it to the beach...

'The setting of the property and house was phenomenally beautiful, especially with the turning Fall leaves. There is a path walking steeply downhill that our two 70+ year olds were hesitant to try, but the rest of our group climbed down and up easily. 3 bedroom suites on 3 different levels made it easy for us to all have our own space, and lovely common spaces, including a screened porch. (no chance of mosquitos there).We hope to return someday!'
