'The property, parking & rooms are beautiful. However…my daughter and I both had the worst sleep of our life here. It was so extremely uncomfortable (bed & pillows) we were up for 2 nights.
Also, we got scammed upon checkin. Our reservation was cancelled and we were never called about the card we used on file. The staff member said “oh we cancelled alot of reservations this morning. But don’t worry we’ll just rebook it for you. Someone should’ve called you”. No one called, the price was double...

'Het positive aan dit hotel is dat het aan de overkant van de straat ligt van pretpark Kings Dominion. Verder was het een wat kleine kamer. De kamer was vies en er hing een vreemde geur in het hotel. Met vies bedoel ik dat de oude contactlenzen van de vorige gast nog op de vloer lagen. Ook vonden we oude bier dopjes en zaten er vlekken op de vloer. Daarnaast waren de kamers erg gehorig en konden zowel de mensen naast ons als boven ons horen. '

'Unsafe, dirty, rust on all the brass room fixtures, no breakfast due to major constructionin the lobby, which is a bunch of trash bags taped from floor to ceiling blocking access to the entire lobby. Propositioned in parking lot by mom and her 2 teen daughters. Guy smoking

'It was fine, the staff was courteous. The rooms were just ok with lots lacking in comfort - sinks were clogged, shower made a weird squealing noise and beds/bedding were ok. Nothing terrible at all, just overall a mid grade hotel. The staff was quick to change our room when we discovered the pull out mattress was missing , despite being a very busy check in night. The lady in charge of breakfast was a delight though. '

'I love the TRU by Hilton chain! The hotels are fresh and looking modern and young. They’re clean and are also focused on younger people who do remote working. I always book a hotel from that chain and the one in Ashland was no exception. Breakfast is typically US, so not the best but super bad either.'
