'We had a wonderful holiday at le moulin de la follaine. Its a calm and quiet, lush place and a great location from which you can travel to all the wonders of the pays Loire. We stayed at the gite, resembling a cute cottage, for a week and a half. There is a beautiful private garden when you rent the gite, but the whole premise (pond included) is accessible, very pretty and filled with animals such as 4 great cats, geese and chickens. 'It was a lovely stay, the hostess was a very gracious lady, the breakfast was great, fresh bageutte, croissant, boiled egg, jams, coffee or tea, fruit juice, all in your own semi private dining area,just enough to get you going for the day. It was also a easy walk to pretty much everything! The room was tastefully decorated with plenty of antiques, and the bathroom was up to date and clean, overall a great stay'

'Lovely place, and very nice owners. Great rooms and beds. The pool was fun, and the hot tub very nice. And the breakfast was fantastic. The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.'

'Lovely apartment - we only stayed overnight as a layover in this charming village but would have happily stayed longer. It was clean, comfortable, attractive and well-equipped, and Claude and Michel were fantastic hosts. The garden was perfect for the dogs and we thoroughly enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the garden. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend. '
