Family getaway

This property was perfect for our one week trip with our family. We brought our adult children with their spouses and our youngest who is twelve. The four bedrooms fit us perfectly. Having a kitchen for breakfast and the washer/dryer could not have been nicer especially with all the hiking we did. The location was great- quiet and a within walking distance to town.

Wonderful place!!!

This was a wonderful place and a perfect fit for our family trip to Bar Harbor. Twin bed room was perfect for our two youngest and decorated with little ones in mind. Location was amazing and within walking distance to most things in town. Working with Robard was great and he was very responsive to any questions or needs we had. Provided an amazing amount of information about the area which made our activity planning and stay much more efficient and smoother. Will definitely stay there again if travels take us back to Bar Harbor. A

Acadia Trip

The property was perfect for our stay. We felt very much at home. It had a very comfortable vibe. The location was perfect..walkable to manny restaurants and the village. Easy drive to the park or you could hop on a bus with the bus stop just yards away from the property. Highly recommend!

Bar Harbor vacay

We had a wonderful stay in Bar Harbor! This rental home was very beautiful and had everything you could want or need. It is within walking distance to the shops, coffee, the waterfront and the grocery store. If it wasn’t for a few rainy, cold days, we probably would have walked everywhere! Absolutely loved it here!

Bar Harbor home

My sister, her husband and son stayed in this beautiful property. Everything was perfect, except the weather. Their trip had to be delayed by one day. The house was clean and they had everything they needed. She mentioned that shoes were requested to be removed when in the house and that was fine but they really needed slippers and they had forgotten theirs. Other than that, their stay was perfect!

We enjoyed our stay at 8 Michigan Ave in Bar Harbor. The house was immaculate and decorated nicely. It was perfect for us 4 adults. Good flow from the living room to the kitchen. The area was quiet. Good location and the hosts were quick to respond to inquiries. A very nice place.

the place was perfect. updated, clean, had everything you needed and more. i would live there if i could! the only negative thing i have to say is we ran out of hot water for the showers. that being said, i would stay there again.

Perfect place for fall trip to Bar Harbor / Acadia

Mercedes and Robard were great hosts. They were very responsive to questions and their recommendations for things to do were very helpful. The house was very clean, even to my wife’s standards. Nice updates to the house. Comfortable bed and pillows. Comfortable reclining couches for relaxing after long hikes in Acadia. Well located, easy walking to the downtown shops and restaurants.

Ar Harbor home

This was a great home that my family stayed in for 6 nights In Bar Harbor. The house is clean, nicely furnished and within walking distance of the downtown area and very close to Acadia. I would highly recommend it!

National park visit

The house suited us very well. Our group was older parents with adult children and their spouses. It really helps to have a place where everyone has their own bedroom and we have common areas to gather. We appreciated having a main floor master suite. We never cooked a meal in the kitchen, but it seemed well outfitted. We were able to walk to town for several excellent restaurants and morning coffee. Our dead end street was very quiet and a very short drive to the other side of town. We enjoyed the stacking washer and dryer and furnished detergents. The only issue we had was a non-functioning outlet in the bathroom (inconvenient for fixing hair) and an odd lack of available outlets in the master bedroom. We ended up having to find other outlets to charge our devices and to blow dry/curling iron my hair. The place was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Definitely would recommend this place to others!

Wonderful Bar Harbor Home away from Home

The property is modern yet charming. Close to “everything” yet in a quiet setting. Bedrooms are on scale with 5 start hotels. Outdoor space was a great unexpected addition. Very clean

Our stay was perfect. The house was lovely. It was equipped with everything we needed. It was clean and well-kept and the location was perfect. Everything was within walking distance. Bar Harbor 2024

Return trip to hike the park and enjoy Bar Harbor. Home is walking distance to all spots in town and Cadillac Mountain is a very short drive. Have previously stayed outside of town, but recommend staying in town. Great way to end a day with dinner in town.

Perfect home in Bar Harbor

This home was in an ideal location for our trips into Acadia throughout the week. We also loved that it was walking distance to the downtown area of Bar Harbor. The host was great at responding to questions and promptly took care of an issue we had at the beginning of our stay. He went above and beyond. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to any friends or family that are traveling to the area.

Acadia/Bar Harbor - perfect!

Very happy with everything, the location, the house, and our hosts. Our family was very comfortable and able to enjoy what was an excellent summer vacation taking in the beauty of Acadia National Park and the charm of Bar Harbor. Tons of memories. Great home in Bar Harbor

The accommodations at Mercedes and Robard’s home exceeded our expectations! The home was extremely clean, well stocked, and filled with thoughtful details making for a very enjoyable stay. All the beds (even the twin beds in the kids room) were extremely comfortable. The home was walkable to town, but removed from the main streets, so was very quiet and private. It was also a quick drive into Acadia. The hosts were very responsive to questions before and during our stay and very thoughtful giving suggestions for events happening over July 4, which we appreciated! We wished the check in were a little earlier but would still love to have the opportunity to stay at this home again in the future!
