'First, the house is clean, great location, in pretty good shape overall. The host is pretty responsive. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed by the listing vs reality of the space. The upstairs is not accommodating to adults! Felt like the listng could have noted this! There's a reason they don't show pictures of the upstairs bathroom or bedroom. You are unable to stand up in either except at the doorway. Upon arrival 3 outdoor chairs were broken. Light fixtures out. Kitchen table wobbly. We had...

'Super new and clean. Loved the open floor plan for visiting after our hikes in Acadia. Beds were very comfortable. House did not lack in any necessities. It was about a 35 minute drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Not exactly easy to run back to the house if you wanted a mid day break, but we knew the location when we booked and enjoyed the quietness of neighborhood. The host was extremely responsive. Would definitely stay here again. '

'Our stay was wonderful! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole property was very family-friendly. We had five children and five adults, and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax.The pool was a game changer — even on our one rainy day, it made the vacation still feel like a celebration. 'The house is lovely -old, but nice. Unfortunately the TV in one bedroom did not work and did not get response when inquiring with host. Pet friendly -and listed with “dog park” but doesn’t clarify that the dog park is across the busy road at the motel property. Needed to reach an extension cord under bed and realized it was quite dusty/hair where a quick swifter wipe would have been appreciated. We still enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property to others…just should be clearer about...
