« The property is stunning, and the views are fabulous! I also noticed that the beds are very comfortable, everyone slept well. Overall, we have had a brilliant stay. « Perfect central location to visit Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole, the seaside and Bath. The accommodation was extremely well maintained and presented. A quiet location situated within a riding school, so perfect for those with an interest in horses but not affected by it being a working stable. The kitchen was particularly well equipped with good quality pots, pans and crockery and the host even provided washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee, milk and even cake! A very nice...

« The Stable was a lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Cosy, clean and modern and there was some sloe gin on arrival!One criticism would be the poor water pressure (I know there is not much that can be done unless a booster pump is fitted). This made the shower quite slow and also filling the kettle was slow.The Bluetooth speaker was a good addition and also Effy the very friendly cat! »

However it is let down by several maintenance issues (one bedroom & bathroom window not opening or closing properly, bedroom door not closing, broken and ill-fitting toilet seat), and the quality of the mattresses and bedding which was really poor when compared to the most basic Premier Inn/Travelodge.
