'We booked this house for our party of 12 including adults, teenagers, and young children. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful decor, serene location, proximity to activities, and included amenities. The kids loved the arcade game and pool table while the adults were grateful for the well stocked kitchen. When several problems popped up (electrical upstairs and missing bedding for the rollaway bed,) the call center arranged for a quick response. Deer were spotted around the cabin and the fire pits...

'This was such a treat for my little family. Located way up high in the mountains and deer everywhere. Super cozy and clean!!! Loved being able to have a fire for smores. Gary was super responsive. Quite a gem!!! '

'Great stay a Cozy Mountain cabin, very well appointed and deocrated. Road to house was a little unexpected but we navigated just fine.'

'Our stay at the Great Escape Lodge was fantastic! The house is a magnificent historical structure. All rooms were ready and perfect for our arrival (bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, etc...all perfect). We grilled and shared stories and good laughs on the back deck. The living room was perfect for all of us to catch up after a day of activities and share our adventures. Key for us was how easy the owners made everything for our stay. They even went the extra mile to be sure we had directions to...

'We had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was well stocked, the bathrooms had plenty of towels and toiletries, the beds were super comfy, the game room was a HUGE hit for both kids and grownups, and the pool was right across the street. The owner even provided extra towels for the pool and hot tubs. We had a great time using the fire pit too. Altho some of the Adirondack chairs around the pit were not fully assembled, we really didn't need them since there was ample built-in seating....

'While the hotel is a little old it exceeded our expectations. The property was very clean and you can tell well cared for. The room was bigger than expected also with 2 queen beds and a conjoining living room. The view off the corner balcony is absolutely breathtaking. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. 'Our group enjoyed our weekend at this property. It is laid out well for two families and is in great proximity to Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock. Recommend a stop at Grandfather Mountain Vineyards down the road for live music and wine.'
