Villa's in Noordelijke voorsteden

'We were looking for an affordable place to stay in the area. We were visiting relatives over Labour Day weekend. Although the bed in #224 was somewhat sqeeky ( and small in size), we slept ok. We were AMAZED that the hotel provided free coffee and ice. There is a microwave available and even a printer. The staff is efficient and friendly. In short : comfortable for a low-budget traveller. 'The Glen Club is always my go to hotel when staying near Chicago. I love its more private location because it feels like a quiet retreat away from the city. Every time we have stayed there it has been peaceful, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. With only 21 rooms, the boutique atmosphere makes it feel even more exclusive and relaxing. 'Having reserved a "suite", I had no idea of the actual size until I got there. Much roomier than other "suites" I had stayed in. It was quite clean and comfortable. Very thankful they had their own secure parking garage, too. The staff attended to our every need promptly. The complimentary breakfast offered most all the same stuff others do, however, this one was better cooked and tastier than the others. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.'

'Those cinnamon rolls are a wonderful way to start the mornings of a weekend getaway! Beyond that, staff kept everything replenished even though there was a full house. The gentleman that checked us in was so welcoming and polite. I reported a water issue in our room to him late the first night and the maintenance staff handled it first thing in the morning. Wow. 'We only stayed overnight because it was a last minute booking ( delayed planes, traveling with a 2 and 5 year old, etc etc.) everything was clean and comfortable. I will say things did feel a bit outdated but nothing too crazy. The way the rooms are set up inside the building are cool.
