'We have been to Hocking a few times already but this was the first trip where we brought our teens. The house was very spacious and clean. Having a full kitchen and gas grill to cook was awesome. Nice touches like full soaps and plenty of paper towels and cleaning tools helped us maintain the house during our stay. Washer and dryer are super helpful. 'Quick stay while passing through with my two dogs! Backyard is secure with a high wooden-slat fence. I did not notice any neighboring dogs. Quiet area, yet easy access to interstates. Comfortable and safe place, would book it again.'

'Loved our stay at the Lake! The cottage is well-appointed. It had everything that we needed. We cooked most days so that we could enjoy our meals while looking at the lake. There are 2 porches. One ground level that provides beautiful views into the gardens/gazebos. One on the second level that looks right into the lake. Plus, there are kayaks, bikes, and a row boat available to use. 'I wanted to love the property but it isn’t lovable. The outside view leaves alot to be desired. This has nothing to do with the property. The property itself looks well groomed. The view of the neighbor’s backyard was not good. For a short 2 night stay the price was great. It is well stocked. The bed was very comfortable. I would like to have had harder water pressure and hotter water, but I know that is just my personal preference. For the price, it was a great find.'
