The town is full of retirees and supports elderly French people there to take the cure in the Roman baths. We appreciated the AC and the bike room at the Castel hotel. 'Je connais la résidence depuis quelques années et c'est l'idéal pour un court séjour et même un plus long cette fois. En plein centre-ville, le cinéma à 2 pas ainsi que la télécabine pour les skieurs, les promenades, le marché mercredi ou samedi... Cures thermales ou vacances, le choix impeccable !!! Il faudrait juste un lit un peu plus confortable que les lits gigognes même quand on est seul...'

'This was a stop for us traveling thru the Pyranees. Great location, but I didn't notice that it was a bare minimum hostel. So no towels, no linens. There is, however, an excellent little french restaurant just 500m down the road. Very nice host. '
