'The property was perfect for our big family, big bedrooms with plenty of bathrooms, lovely big verandah with outdoor tables and chairs. Living areas were roomy too. The couple of negatives for our stay were that we had to supply bath towels, the ventilation was poor, having to force windows open for fresh air, and the air-conditioning was unfortunately not working in the lounge area. 'We arrived a little early for check-in and were warmly welcomed and told our room was ready for us. The room is what you'd expect from a motel in a small town, but comfortable and very clean. Ticked all of the boxes with a comfy bed, decent bathroom, coffee machine, TV with streaming channels, and ample storage. The chairs and table in the room and outside on the patio were a welcome addition as were the little chocolates left on the bed. Would be very comfortable for an extended stay.'

'Dit is vooral een accomodatie voor vogelaars/natuurliefhebbers. Het is zeer basic ingericht. Wel met een gezellig kacheltje wat je wel nodig hebt. Redelijk frisjes. Wat erg leuk was dat je sugar sliders en bandicoots kon zien omdat ze 's avonds honing aan een boom smeerde. '

'If you love nature, you will love The Canopy! We spotted a platypus on the first day and a cassowary on our way out! The birds are beautiful and the turtles plentiful. The staff were kind and helpful. They even built a fire for us on a cool day. Loved every minute of our time there. '

'Wonderful place to retreat for a few days with beautiful walks on the property through tropical forest. If you like nature and seclusion this is the place for you. The rooms are well maintained, clean and comfortable with all the amenaties needed for self catering. There is however, no Wifi access in the room and telephone coverage is poor; so I would not recomend this for someone who needs to stay connected. Otherwise, no complaints and an enjoyable stay.'

'Debbie heeft prachtige boomhutten gebouwd midden in de natuur. Je huisje is super volledig ingericht, alles is aanwezig. Prachtige houten vloer, bubbelbad en als je zelf wilt koken olie, zout , peper alles is er. We haddem alleeen heel,erg pech regen regen regen en dan verveel je er een beetje. Dus daarom al na 1 nacht weggegaan. Helaas geen wifi'

'A really lovely property with absolutely delightful hosts. We had a 2 bedroom townhouse near the pool. Parking was downstairs and really only suited a small car (ours poked out the front). Well stocked kitchen, lots of accessories and wine glasses! Would be nice to have a few larger drinking glasses available. Main bedroom had lovely view of the Lake. Other bedroom overlooked the pool, unfortunately the mattress was like concrete, time for an upgrade perhaps. Screens throughout meant lovely...
