'Stayed here the night before starting a Nile Cruise. It's an unusual experience-the transfer from the airport eventually puts you in a tuk-tuk to get you there! And we had to take a boat to transfer to our cruise. It feels rustic, but in a good way. Staff very attentive, but not much english speaking. Rooms were simple but comfortable.'

We chose Dolby Kato because of the colours, and location in Aswan after a Luxor to Aswan cruise, not realising how special the Nubian Village was in itself. Right from the start, the communication was excellent, including advice to make sure the taxi would make it all the way to the front door (which he did, despite being unsure). 'This place is a real gem! The location is very beautiful opposite of the temple. The personnel is also very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is superb! And also lunch and dinner is very good. They have their own veggie garden en also there is a small beach with recliners and towels. From there you can have a swim in the Nile! Altogether a really relaxed and beautiful option when you want to be at a special location in Aswan. '

'We had a wonderful experience in the house abd the landlord is incredibly nice and friendly, going above and beyond by assisting us with transportation from the train station to the house and then to the airport. The property itself was spacious, clean, and had a fully equipped kitchen, making our stay very comfortable.'

'Amazing staff, the property manager was extremely helpful and helped me work out a way for my pickup driver to find the location. They are right next to Philae Marina and provides a convenient way to start your day going to the island. I highly recommend this location. '
