« If ever I were to own a cabin, it would be of the design of this one. Rustic feel with solid and complete foundational amenities. Greats: cathedral ceiling/loft/windows, large porch, bbq, wood stove, no TV, solid internet, great shower and bathroom, firm and comfortable mattresses. Nit-picky cons: jacuzzi isn't really a traditional hot tub, 30 min drive to/from Ashland on a very winding (yet picturesque) road, check-out time of 10am with $35 fee to extend to noon. « My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Mayfield Gardens cabin and loved every minute. The cabin was spotless and was well stocked with everything I could possibly need. I especially loved the peaceful setting, so very quiet and peaceful. We’ll be back. »

« Thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin. The location was perfect. Waking up to deer on the back porch having the lake in the front was the best combo. The cabin was cozy just exactly what was needed for our getaway. One thing I wish it had was a screen door to the back porch. Would have loved fresh air throughout of stay since some windows were broken. All in all would highly recommend and already looking forward to coming back. »
