'This was a bucket list experience. The location could not be beat, right in the heart of the old town. Sitting on our balcony watching the day unfold over Lake Maggiore and the Ascona promenade was incredibly beautiful. The staff were excellent and accommodated all of our needs and requests. The breakfast was delicious and diverse. We only stayed 2 nights but we could have spent a much longer time if our schedule allowed. Thank you Hotel Elevezia Ascona for a perfect stay!!'

'Great hotel, neat and friendly personnel. The garden is great to wander around and offers some great views of the lake. Getting to the hotel by bus is a bit hard. You'll have to walk up the hill. Also the rooms are not really soundproof, but since all people seemed to sleep in early this wasn't a big issue for me. '
