'DeBrett is a beautiful hotel, with a very original interior design. Location is perfect in downtown Auckland. Room was clean, service good. The free daily drink in the guest-only library room is a very nice feature and gives the hotel a home-like feeling. Complimentary continental breakfast is basic but good. The staff were helpful, the room was clean (and quiet) and our overall experience was great. Definitely recommended for a stay in Auckland. It’s within walking distance of tons of restaurants and stores too!'

'We stay at this hotel Everytime we visit Auckland. Excellent location, affordable, clean, and the staff are always friendly. We will definitely continue to stay here! Only downside is no onsite parking, however there are many convenient parking buildings nearby that you can pre book for a fairly affordable rate. '

'Very nice hotel in the City center. A lot of restaurants and bars in the vicinity. We had a room at the 20th floor on the side with great view of the bay. Very quit room, we loved that.'

'Beautiful hotel. Room was lovely, staff were pleasant and helpful. Really enjoyed the Club privileges. Great location for access to Auckland center. Only negative is there isn’t a thermostat in the room. I wasn’t able to change the temperature and couldn’t get it cool enough for my preference. Asked for and received a fan - which helped - but definitely prefer to regulate the room temperature myself. '

'Ohtel is a comfortable hotel at a great location. Because of the terrible weather in Auckland the elevator was not working. We stayed 4 nights and were hosted on the 4th floor so that was 8 stairs everyday for a couple of times. Very heavy. The breakfast was good, so was the room and the service. '
