Flats in Archbold

'First when we checked in the first room even getting there to second floor, all dark hallways , rooms looking in all beds made no one in them, nuclei where water drip And water in bucket had to go around and turn multiple times to get there. My husband opened door, I had luggage, did not know he had to squeeze in , there was a chair behind it and I opened and crushed his hand and he yelled. The chair was all cracked and inside popping out, smelled horrible. I have asthma and husband severe CHF....

'There was a fitted sheet over the mattress, but no upper sheet for over your body. There was only a bedding cover that likely doesn't get laundered. There were no pillow cases over the pillows. The so called hot water was barely warm.'

'Let me start off with everyone I spoke to who worked at the hotel was extremely nice and helpful. This however did not make up for the cleanliness of the hotel. As soon as I opened my room door I was hit with the smell of cigarette smoke, I immediately opened the window to help with the odor. 'Staff at check in was friendly and informative. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was offered, but I didn't eat there, so I cannot comment on the food. Hotel was near numerous restaurants. Would stay here again'

'Very neat farmhouse with lots of character. Updated kitchen and bathrooms that were nice. Really nice property and beautiful pond. It sits close to a somewhat busy road so having a white noise app helped drown out any noise. Overall great stay.'

'It was a clean and fairly adequate motel except for the mattresses and other furniture. Out of three beds in our room, one was adequate and the other two were worn out and visibly sunken. There weren’t many amenities (ice, front desk, etc) but the lack of comfortable furnishings in the room - sunken beds, only a card table and three folding chairs, no place to put suitcases to open them, etc., made this property a negative for me.'

'Room was clean and comfortable. Staff are not on site all the time, but are very friendly and responsive through text and phone. A local market has most essentials you may need nearby, and there are a few restaurants around the area with good food.'
