Oceanic Aquarium

Nice comfortable Hotel in Blumenau. Despite its name (Himmelblau) there is not much German about this Hotel. Only one staff member actually spoke some German. The rest (interior, food, etc) is 100% Brazilian. Center of town is nearby, you can walk it all. Many fake German places with timberwork glued on concrete slabs. With some effort you can spot real old German houses down the main street, but most are in ruins or disrepair. Interesting history though, but the tourist dept better shape up the real history here and prevent a horrible disneyfication of German heritage. Quite a disgrace. Go to nearby Pomorode for real German feel, people actually speak German there and real German architecture is in good shape.

A experiência foi perfeita. O hotel é lindíssimo e super agradável, aconchegante. A decoração do hotel foi pensada em cada detalhe. O café da manhã maravilhoso. Os funcionários são extremamente disponíveis e solícitos! O Ari nos apresentou o hotel, em cada detalhe. E o Anderson brilhou no atendimento do restaurante. Mas todos os outros também foram fantásticos. Enfim, super recomendo a hospedagem! Como sugestão, deixo a disponibilização de água na academia e algumas toalhas de rosto para os hóspedes!
