Just perfect

The appartment is situated on a lovely resort at a very quiet spot. We were able to sleep with the balcony door open so we could hear the sea! All windows and doors are equipped with mosquito nets so no bugs inside. Very spacious living and bedrooms. Everything worked perfectly and was spotless. Very nice touch was the provided coffee and condiments. Location is between Santa Cruz (30 minutes) and Monterey (55 min). We'll be back!

Stay was fabulous, except for the fact that the cleaning folks had not cleaned before we arrived. They did come shortly after I reached out to the VRBO property manager, but we still lost a couple hours of R&R time while the were doing their job. And as we were requested to load and start the dishwasher before leaving, but there was no dishwashing detergent I could find (and I did look everywhere I could). Again reached out to the VRBO manager who told me to not bother, but still, a little thing that slipped by.All in all, though, this was a fantastic getaway in a luxurious space with gorgeous views and comfortable beds. If I’m ever planning another getaway like this, I would rent this place again.

We had such a wonderful stay! The condo was lovely, very clean, and had super comfy beds. The view was amazing — we even saw deer come out of the woods every evening, which was such a treat. The owner was incredibly kind and easy to work with. We’ll definitely rent here again!

We have to start by talking about the location. It's close to Santa Cruz but far enough to be comfortably away from the bustle of the bigger city. But the rash draw is the Ocean. Don't rent this thinking you walk out onto the beach, you don't. But you can see the Ocean from the master bedroom and it's a quick walk on the resort property to get very close. My wife even saw a whale one morning from the property. Aptos also has easy access to restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and everything you might need. Now the condo itself is pretty good. It had plenty of room for our family of five to stay comfortably. Two rooms with larger beds, a pull out bed in the living room and our youngest slept on the loveseat. I have to say the decor is looking a little dated. I'm guessing this resort was built in the 2000s or so, and it has the feel of a place that age. Nothing was dingy or dirty, just like I said, dated.The Wi-Fi worked fine, but I think the TV situation could be improved as well. The owner does let you know there isn't soap or shampoo or anything available, but I don't love that for the price you pay. There was plenty of parking and we did spend some time in the on site pool. Would I stay here again? Yes I would. It was just what we were looking for at the time. It isn't perfect, but sometimes you have to make sure you don't let perfect get in the way of that pretty good.

Always great

I’ve booked this property numerous times now. Been going to this resort as an annual family vacation for 10 years. This particular unit is well placed. If I’m being honest I wish it was ground level versus second story but still it has the perfect location. Easily sleeps 6, quick walk to the local shops for unique grocery and coffe shop, right next to one of the pools and hot tubs, and closest access to get directly down to the beach which has tons of privacy and really only occupied by those at the resort to this place tops them all for convenience. Kitchen is loaded with everything you need to grocery shop and cook versus dine out. The owners are extremely responsive as well to any questions concerns or needs. Always a very enjoyable stay. Oh and absolutely stunning views from the balconies of the sunsets.

We loved our location! However if you are not a fan of stairs, this place is not for you. A slight plumbing issue was not resolved before we left. The owner was having a handyman issue. Hope it gets resolved before the next guests arrive!!!

Going to the Beach!

This property hit all the marks and would definitely recommend and stay here again. It is a great resort community and easy to get around. We were pleased going through VRBO direct with the owners and didn’t feel like we missed any of the “extra” services. Easy in/out. More than enough room for a family of four. Beds are comfy! Sleeping with a sea breeze was also delightful! We saw whales, seal, dolphins and enjoyed a beach bonfire. Truly epic.

The property was beyond beautiful even better than the pictures. Sleeping arrangements were great for the 6 of us and could have even accommodated one other person. I just wanted to share what a wonderful time we had staying at your condo. The place was just as pictured online, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the couches had even been upgraded – a definite plus! The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, which made it easy for us to prepare lunches and dinners. We even enjoyed using the BBQ. We did encounter a small hiccup when checking in – entirely my mistake – but I was so grateful that you were very easy to reach and resolved the issue for us quickly. The location of the condo was fantastic, and the views from the deck were truly beautiful. I honestly didn't want to leave!

Amazing location and cozy stay

A small group of friends and I stayed here for the weekend, and the location was everything. There’s an ocean view from the living room, upstairs primary bedroom, and both balconies. We could hear the waves crashing which was soothing. The house is clean and mostly stocked. We appreciated having 2.5 bathrooms and big beds which were pretty comfy. The saltwater pool And jacuzzi are a stones throw from the condo, too. The owners are responsive and when we needed dishtowels, they sent them within an hour. Loved the area and had awesome relaxing weekend here. I’m looking forward to going back!

a wonderful time in Aptos

everything included in our stay was amazing, from accessibility to other places outside of the resort, to amazing views from everywhere. the beach was beautiful, and it was so nice to watch the sunset from the restaurant that was a 2 minute walk from the unit or from the units decks. there was also a pool, which was so fun to swim in. overall, this was a wonderful stay and we will definitely come again. The place was very comfortable for the five of us (4 adults and 1 child). Thank you
