« Worst stay of the year! Our room was directly above the bar. The live music from the bar vibrated our room until well after 10pm Friday and Saturday. The beds were ultra cheap and hard. Sleep was impossible. Floors were creaky and stairs were long and steep. The room was dark with only a few lamps, which half the bulbs were burned out. The outlet in the nightstand didn’t work so had to charge phone out of reach. They couldn’t pay me to go back. »

« When I called re a florist in the area for fresh bouquet, the manager said he'd be happy to get their Gardener to cut flowers and make a bouquet for me. Wow, that was so nice! When it was brought to our room the girl would not take any payment. The flowers were lovely and went on my mother's grave. I really appreciate how they went out of their way for me. The room was spotless and the a/c worked very well. Plus we enjoyed having a living area and kitchen. We were within walking distance...

« The staff and amenities were great! Breakfast was hot and well stocked! We enjoy the pool alone twice on our trip. Only down side was our room was not very clean, stains on the sheets, shower and floor were dirty and it smelled a little bit. We also did not use the WiFi due to having to make an account but that was our choice. »

« The village is beautiful. Our kids loved the pond, playground and surrounding paths for family walks. The cabin was cozy, well kept and had everything a family needs. Our stay was short but will have to do it again for an extended stay. »

« This is one of the most charming inns! Yes, it's a bit old and the room a little small, but it's clean and super bright. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies being able to open the windows instead of having to endure the noise of the air conditioner like in all places. The front desk staff was very nice and called within a few hours of our arrival to make sure we liked our room and were comfortable. We will absolutely return here! « There was little to like here. The room was average, only basic bathroom toiletries, no blanket or fold out luggage rack. Breakfast was low quality. Staff was unaccommodating and rude , particularly the female day manager. Will not be visiting here again, and perhaps no HIE. They are cut rate on most everything. »

« I am 6’4”. I used to travel 120 nights a year all over. This was the smallest room(including cruise cabins) I have ever been in. I would have complained but I was in one and of my favorite towns and just went with it. The tv was on the left wall to a forward facing bed and it was so uncomfortable trying to watch I turned it off and played on my phone. I checked and my bathroom and wife’s closet are bigger than the room. Buyer beware and all but that room was ridiculous and uncomfortable. And...
