« Just a very pleasant surprise on many levels. This is a smaller hotel that is newer, yet retains its charm as a unique, mountain type escape. Staff is extremely helpful. Be aware that because this is not a chain, staff hours are not 24/7, so it is worth confirming your arrival time with the hotel directly a day or two in advance to ensure someone is there to greet you and get you checked in. There were crumbs all over one of nightstands, with lots of little handprints on it. The outside wall with a window had a very large stain on it, which appeared to be patched, but still looked like we were staying at the site of an old crime scene.
