When we arrived in the room, there was some sand on the floor and a little on the couch, which was disappointing. It is next to a beach so maybe not preventable but I think it could have been vacuumed a bit more carefully. Otherwise, the room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. 'Surf Club is a no frills beach house type motel that still offers all the modern amenities like in-room coffee maker, fridge, micro, wifi, etc (kitchenette). My wife and I felt like we were in the nostalgia of the 1960's. Couldn't care less that there was no elevator, the hotel is only 3 floors and there's an awesome retro dumbwaiter that takes your zooms your luggage to your floor.
