« Our family of 6 were in town for a kids sporting event and this space was perfect. The rooms are spacious with tons of storage. The vintage feel isn’t normally our style but we loved it and it was in great shape and so so clean. We got to see deer in the back yard and the neighborhood was quiet and close to anything you would need as far as shops food and grocery. Hosts made communication easy and I knew I could get ahold of them with a simple text message. »

« I stayed here with a group of 11 guys, and we really enjoyed the property. Having two living rooms and two kitchens gave us plenty of space and flexibility. Everything was clean and well lit, and we found plenty of parking on the street, in addition to the driveway. »

« This was our second year staying at this property and it was again a lovely stay. The house is nice and private, set back from the road. Super easy and convenient access to the beach. If you want a few more waves it’s a quick walk to another beach area close by. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Check in and out was easy and Kathleen responded to any questions we had quickly. We hope to stay again next year! »

« We booked both upstairs and downstairs units for two families attending a swim meet. Beautiful home, gleaming hardwood floors, tastefully decorated. The furnace downstairs stopped working during our stay. Owner was super responsive. When he couldn't fix the furnace right away, he found a comparable home for us to relocate. »

« We were in town for a show at the nearby Key Bank Center. As we were celebrating my wife's 30th birthday we utilized ride services quite a lot and found this location was pretty close to all our points of interest. There's also a grocery store a few blocks away which was very convenient. The owners of the property was readily available for any concerns we had and checked in periodically with us too! »

« This apartment is great. Yes, you're in the city, down a few streets over seems sketch, but this one is perfectly fine. As someone who didnt used to be used to city living, then learned how to live in downtown Chicago, I'd be fine living here. The neighborhood kids (4-13 yrs old?) were playing in the street even in the evening, and talked to our kids. Families on their porches were all friendly. Plenty of very hot water. « Overall we were happy with our stay. Beginning started out a little annoying. Check in was easy but wasnt communicated until a half hour after we were able to be there and had to call for the code. Walking in, the floor didnt look vacuumed and beds looked unmade/slept in. We spent the first hour remaking beds (clean sheets were in the dryer), vacuuming (we have a crawler who puts everything in her mouth), and getting rid of all the daddy long legs that were posted up towards the ceiling....

« We stayed back in 2019. Now in 2024 there have been some major updates. The place is so cute! All the details give a cozy beach vibe. AC is a definite bonus. Everything you need is available.
