Great location and view. I didn’t know there was going to be a hot tub so it was a lovely surprise to open the door and see that right in the main living space. Very unique and fun! It’s a great place for a couple to get away for a weekend.

Clean, quiet, cozy place. Large windows looking out at trees around much of living area. Was perfect for two. Comfortable temperature. Lots of mirrors. Hot tub. Bring a reading light if you want to curl up with a book in the evening. Great location. 10 min. Walk to 'town' and restaurant/pubs. Short walk to Alyeska Easy to catch town shuttle- stops on Alyeska hwy a few feet from property. Met owner-awesome person. Would stay here again.

I decided to stay in Girdwood even though I had business in Anchorage during this work trip. The rental was easy to locate, communication with the manager was accessible, and it was in proximity of all the things I wanted for this business/leisure trip!

Our stay in Alaska has been absolutely stellar. Day one, 14 on the moose count! Garage apartment worked, could have been better but for price, very out dated, not all windows had screens. We were able to overlook these minor details as this was not a foofoo vacation.. I do have to say we were very taken aback by the typed note from house owner who was obviosly home. We never received any notification to not park in front of THEIR door, until day before we leave only parking instructions provided Do not park in front of garage...RUDE also you have to pay to dump your trash, heads up would help. Hot tub stinks!

Suprise!

We got to the house and surprise there was a hot tub! That was pretty cool. It’s definitely an older residence but comfortable. They could have used some hooks for drying gear. The internet didn’t work, We contacted the property manager and they it connected then stopped working. The light panel next to the door was inoperable, so no light on the stairs. If it had been more icy that would have been a problem. There were a few things that were broken, the toaster was pretty Smokey. Hahaha.. but overall it was a pleasant stau

This is a solid spot. It was clean and comfortable. The hot tub in the middle of the room is super unique. The couch could stand to be replaced as it’s lost most of its cushion but everything else about the unit was great.

Quirky, awesome apartment

We loved the location, ample light, dedicated parking, kitchen, bed, and the layout of the space. However, there were rather major surprises in the ammenities that were strange to not have been very clear about in the listing- including a huge working hottub in the main living space and also a DIY mirrored ceiling in the canopy bed... we loved both ammenities but were very grateful we didn't have our kids with us to keep them safe from hottub and hodge-podge mirrored ceiling of the bed which was seemingly just two mirrors spanning the width of the bed without lateral supports. TBH I felt very uncomfortable about their structural integrity and my safety underneath them. It kept me up the first night! Also glad the kids weren't there to try to sleep on the pullout couch bed with the sound of the hottub buzzing all night, and/or keeping them out of it when we were in the main bedroom. As it was, the two of us loved the quirky space, having a very nice big hottub all to ourselves with good jet pressure and heat, and the central location, dedicated parking, natural light, kitchenette etc... was totally awesome. The hottub in carpeted living roo, the sliding mirror closet doors being off rails, poor wifi connectivity, and electrical plates so ornate that one could not plug in computer plugs nor phone chargers in main kitchen areas were detractors. That said, we would totally stay here again- the price was right, and the location n cleanliness were great, and hot tub!
