'Great property and staff, dining on site was great, the wharf at the sister property wasn’t very good'

'Uitstekend gelegen hotel. Direct aan het strand, dat is top. Het hotel zelf kan wel wat liefde gebruiken. Het is verouderd. Kamers zijn ruim, en hebben prima voorzieningen. Wel gehorig, we hadden last van luidruchtige buren. Handig dat het ontbijt is inbegrepen. Prima hotel als budgetvriendelijke optie. '

'I had mention to one of the staff we were at the hotel to celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary and the HR Manger sent up a cheese tray a bottle of wine and a ballon! Over and above to make our stay wonderful!'

'The room was fantastic. We used the pool, bikes, and workout facility. Mase at the front desk delivered exceptional service. The bike path nearby was very nice. It was a great stay.'

'This was our second stay and won’t be our last. Welcoming staff, beautiful grounds, pool, hot tub; and my favorites, waffles and all day coffee!!! Brought the dog this time, he loved it too. Pet friendly but you’d never know there was a dog there before you. Very clean. Every member of the staff spoke to or greeted us every time we saw them. Very professional. We’ll be back again, hopefully soon.'

'Room was clean and mattress was comfortable. Strong smell of bleach in the bed linens. Staff was friendly unable to find at times. Pool was refreshing. Food was adequate. Parking a breeze. Female at bar on the evening was nice.'

'The property itself is very lovely and rich with history. It was peaceful to walk around and observe the beautiful oak trees. My room however had carpet with stains everywhere. I was surprised for the cost of the room that the carpet looked really dirty.'

'The property is beautiful and conveniently located close to The beach with easy access. We rented bikes from the hotel and the island bike trail Is right off the property . We spent alot of the time at the pool and there were ample chairs and umbrellas and the foliage around the pool takes the experience to a higher level Chairs are located outside the rooms and we sat outside with coffee in the morning and there was never sun beating down on us'

'This hotel was great. It was in a good location, able to walk to several restaurants and shops. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. The nightly entertainment was fun. It says it has a designated smoking area, but it was lacking any place to sit. They also said you could smoke in the parking lot but there weren’t any ash trays. There should also be a trash bin in the pool area. Will stay here again.'

'Fijne accommodatie voor een verblijf op SSI. In het plaatsje, dicht bij de winkels en restaurants en op loopafstand van het strand. Sfeervolle kamer. Schoon. Continental breakfast is prima en fijn dat het is inbegrepen. '

'This is an outstanding hotel in a great location. The hotel is looks like new and the lobby is very spacious and attractive and the staff was especially helful and welcoming. Great fitness center! The room was among the best I've stayed in recently and I've recently traveled and stayed in San Francisco, Big Sky Montana, Jacksonville, Florida and 3 hotels in Switzerland. The kitchenette was the best! The desk area was large as well as the sitting area with couch. I'll be back!'

'The location was perfect. We rarely used the car. Good restaurants close by and lovely waterfront park right across the street. Construction continues inside but workmen not a problem. Our room was comfortable but dated. Never AC worked well. Pool was sparkling clean and inviting. Coffee machine available 24/7 was excellent. Breakfast minimal but did offer waffle machine, some cereal and muffin choices, milk and o.j. Covered parking garage on ground level. Lobby one floor up accessible...
