« Casa Acero was amazing. It felt like home. The kitchen was stocked with seasonings and condiments. We cooked most nights and had everything that we needed. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard with wood burning it the outdoor stove. The furniture was very unique. The place was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. We will definitely return to Casa Acero. »

« The property was about as close to Big Bend NP as we could get. The view from the front porch was spectacular (especially at sunrise) and the night sky was incredible. We even saw a small herd of javelinas on the property as we were leaving. The property itself satisfied our needs. The owners gave us great directions to this remote location and tips on what to wear and what supplies to bring. Overall a great experience! »

« A great option for a stay in Marfa. The house was exactly as advertised and spotlessly clean. The owner was in touch the whole time and very responsive. One shower did not get hot but as there was another it wasn't hugely inconvenient. It's on a quiet edge of town, which was nice for sleeping but still really convenient to drive, or a nice walk, to the center of things. »

« Enjoyed the space we had for 10 guests. Everything was clean but for the pots, pans & dish wear (at least to our standards), we didn't mind washing everything before we used the items. Hosts were most generous with all the supplies and linens left for the guests. We also liked the proximity of the grocery store and gas station, even though we only used once. Hosts gave excellent pre stay instructions which we followed specially the notes on shopping in Alpine before arrival, Lowes Grocery store...

« Traveling to Big Bend and stayed in this very cute studio. We knew what we were getting into with no real bed or private indoor shower. We enjoyed our stay for the time we were actually at the studio. It has most of the comforts you would expect. With that said; Our bodies(over 45 years)are just not meant for sleeping on a pull out sofa or trying to shower outdoors when the wind is blowing. Other than that, we were very cozy. »

« Rarely does anything, any place or anyone OVER-deliver on a promise but the Star Gazer does. The deck cooking area and banos with showers inside and out were my favorite part. The Airstream itself is cozy and clean and the expansive view was life affirming. We had one tiny problem when we arrived but the host picked up our call and quickly talked us through it. I’m giving five stars only because I can’t give 6. »

« We absolutely love this home! We’ve stayed 3 times over the last few years. It’s so quiet and walking distance to downtown. The view of sleeping lion mountain as you sit in the rocking chairs on the front porch is surreal. The stars are so bright! Sigh it was so hard to leave. Everything you need is provided. "La piscine et la laverie étaient hors service... mais le pire c'est le bruit de la machinerie de l'ascenseur dans la chambre 103. Accueil pas vraiment chaleureux. Le pire hôtel en 5 semaines... il n'y a que le petit-déjeuner de bien."

Magnifique hôtel rétro
"Séjour de deux nuits dans cet hotel situé à quelques encablures de Big Bend NP. Nous avons eu un coup de cœur pour ce petit coin, avec ses petits cottages coincés à mi-chemin entre les années 50-60 pour leur déco soignée et le confort des années modernes. L'ensemble est calme, la literie est excellente et l'accueil est très agréable. Ne pas s'inquiéter des horaires restreints de check-in ou check-out: tout est prévu. En somme un bel endroit à découvrir, que Terlingua soit complet ou pas, mais prévoir tout de même une heure d'autoroute le matin et le soir pour le trajet vers et depuis les portes du parc. Fortement recommandé!"
